Transcendental Sonnet #987:
Silke Singing
The landscape is laid with men driven mad
We humans can bear so little of bliss
Such as is mine now I am driven glad
To dream that this pure incandescent kiss
This fairest fondest fantasy of love
Belongs among all men of earth to me
Between the earth beneath the sky above
That I am chosen for such ecstasy
That such celestial light on me could shine
The veil withdrawn I see our destiny
Today clear as her voice first sang her choice
A voice which is not human but divine
Today my Silke now that I have heard you sing
I thank God more than ever that you bear my ring

Very beautiful!!!!!
Does she has any songs she wrote for herself or others? It would be nice if we could somehow upload our own songs or even the poems we write with the voice of the poet that wrote it.Voice allows for more emotional manipulation of the text than a simple written form.I would love to hear you read your sonnets!
