This Bad Person, Who?
I want to take back all I've said
And tell the world that I am dead
Undo the misdeeds that I did
Reveal the secrets that I hid
Find a heart in this cold chest
Make amends so I can rest
Pull back the hand with which I struck
Wish my fellow men good luck
Take the time to listen well
To pleading, begging, those who fell
Offer those some of my gain
And ease a little of their pain
I say this each and every day
But always fail to find the way

This is a very thought-provoking, write.
It makes me think on self-condemnation, the feel for self-correction and growth derived from poorly taught behaviors, the urgency to fix this, without the insight or know-how, leading up to one's feelings of hopeless failures.
This sends a strong and powerful message, I think. And is well written.
Blessed Be!

We all wish that we could undo, redo, not do what we have done. My philosophy is: The past is the past. There is nothing we can say or do about it now. We can only learn and grow from past's folly.

But come the time machine and I'll have to do a lot of apologising!
