The Cut

Bad memories
Never forgotten
Self harming
Showing weakness
Blood
Bleeding cuts
Mental pain
Replaced with physical
Focusing
Distracting
Forgetting about reality
Cutting myself
the devil's cure......

+Steven Curtis Lance
...and now, let mental pain be replaced by the spiritual pleasure of being understood, of being loved.

...and now let mental pain, and now let physical pain, and now let spiritual pain be all-enfolded, all-embraced in the mental, the spiritual, and--yes!--the physical pleasure of us, of you and me and destiny and the answer to the question of to be or not to be:

To be

With me

*Sweet Kisses Without Number*

*Butterfly Kisses on Your Ears, and Upon Your Very Nose-Tip*

I am composing a new sonnet for you, even now. I hope you will like it when it is done. I might have to go to Starbucks to wake up the rest of the way. I slept like a stone, but like the happiest rock in the world for you rock my world, a stone which dreamed for hours of a transcendental butterfly, a magical creature, a mystical teacher who teaches magical lessons of love, by love, and all for love...

I dreamed and I am dreaming still of Silke Shining in the Sky

Whether awake or asleep

My dearest darling little girl...

I love you so

Sweet sad Silke...

I am writing something nice for you now...

I love you.

I will try to call you.

Transcendental Sonnet #985:
Cloud-Soft Late-Summer Light

for Silke

We were on the phone and Fred was acting strange
Tasting on the air an unexpected change
I smelled it first then heard it soft and plain
The miracle of sweet late-summer rain

Now it is morning and the sun has come
To light the sky serenely through soft clouds
The rain has gone away but left me some
Reminders it was here in mist which shrouds
Late-summer skies which otherwise would be
Bright blazing blue and gold too bright for me

On this soft quiet day when I want to
Recall the magic rain of yesternight
Take it slow and let you know I love you
And see you in cloud-soft late-summer light

Hey! Pick it up! Let's go! "There's no crying! There's no crying in baseball!" Put a smile on. You have too many people picking you up and wrapping you in warmth to be so disenchanted. Find refuge in the welcoming arms of these inviting pages and caring poets. By the way your poem was charged in emotion that carried well beyond the screen. It hit hard. Brilliant writing, Silke. My thoughts and prayers remain with you in your continued struggles. We are with you.

This is beautiful just like you.

I love your poems, they say so much.
Anyway time for me to take a shower, now, so, will see you all in a little while.

Welcome back, sweetie, and hope you are feeling much better.

Blessed Be

P.s.
Hon is it okay, if I post this on my group for troubled teens. I can leave the author anonymous, but I really think it is worthy to post there, since this is one of the topics we touch on.

Ok, Sweetie.
Take care, we love you,
Aiyana

It's true! We care for you so much, Silke. I was tearing up when I read this. I love how your poetry has the ability to make others feel such raw emotion. It's a beautiful experience. Please go on, and continue to touch people the way you have touched them here.

~Much Love~
