Mrs. Green eyed jewel
You can’t stand to look at me
I feel diseased under your gaze
You’d rather see me dead
Mrs. Green eyed jewel
You don’t have to look at me
Wipe that grimace off your face
Don’t pretend that you want me around
Mrs. Green eyed jewel
I can see it in your eyes
Your distain for me is so thick
I can taste it in the air
Your rhythm was upset by my tremor
Your beat was disturbed by my bang
You don’t want me here
Stop talking circles around me
Pretending like you care
Mrs. Green eyed jewel
You look at me like I’m a leper
You look at me like I’m a killer
You look at me like an animal
Why are you holding back?
Tell me that you hate me to my face
Mrs. Green eyed jewel
You owe me at least that much

Ah, yes. Jealousy and the shameless, pathetic acts inspired by it. I know exactly where this is coming from. You're good to hold your ground. Nice piece, caitiff!

~Much Love~

Posted this in the wrong place yesterday.

Imagine if you can a love that dies at birth, a love that's sabotaged, a marraige which begins disasterously. They're lined up and ready to go, but there's a distraction which focuses attention elsewhere. They've missed the starting gun. With out any warning or discussion she ups and leaves him broken hearted.

On your marks
Get set
Dog barks
False start
Poison dart
Finds its mark
Deadly shark
Strips the bark
Broken heart
Torn apart
Vacant atom no quark
All is barren bleak and stark
Hark
Silent sky muzzled lark
Lights out you’re in the dark
No spirit, no spark
No comprehension
Please pay attention
No mention of intension

Sorry Caitiff. I didn't mean to clutter up your topic with my own poem. It was a beginners mistake.

I like everything I've read of yours.
