WHO CARES HOW WE DO IT ?
WHO CARES HOW IT ALL BEGUN ?
AS LONG AS WE DO IT
THIS TIME EVERYONE
NO-ONE SHOULD BE LEFT BEHIND
NO-ONE SHOULD BE LEFT ON THE SHELF
JUST BECAUSE WE FORGET THINGS
WE FORGOT HOW TO BELIEVE IN OURSELF
WE KNOW THAT WE CAN DO IT
WE KNOW WE CAN STILL HAVE OUR PRIDE
WE KNOW WE CAN ALL GET ALONG TOGETHER
SIDE BY SIDE
SIDE BY SIDE SHOWS RESPECT FOR A BOUNDARY
BUT SIDE BY SIDE MEANS TOGETHER TOO
THIS WAY WE CAN ALL GET ALONG
YOU RESPECT ME. AND I WILL RESPECT YOU
A LITTLE BIT OF LOVE
A LITTLE BIT OF UNDERSTANDING
MAKES THIS WORLD A BETTER PLACE
MAKES LIFE LESS DEMANDING
WE ALL LOVE LIFE IN OUR OWN WAY
THERE IS NO NEED TO FEAR WE DIE
BECAUSE OF THE CIRCLE OF LIFE EXISTS
WE ALL REACH THE SKY

I agree with Unknown. Needlessly making a post in ALL CAPS is loud and obnoxious, and will more often than not turn people off to your post.

A beautiful, potent bit of writing J. A powerful, thought-provoking message. The collective addressing of the problem that plaques our society - Respect. So, you can call it "Respect" or perhaps, "The Collective Soul". Either way it is a splendid masterpiece.
Your poetic friend,
Kevin

unknown #2, perhaps you have had a bad experience with ALL CAP'S, but personally, no one really pays attention to them, once they open thier minds to giving a title/poem a chance to show what is written within.
Though I do agree that it is not necessary to write the entire poem in caps, but maybe this writer felt he had something to say worthy of screaming it.
Poetry isn't about grammer, never has been about structuring the write to one person's standards, it's about the heart of a writer, and the creativity of thier thoughts, and in their abiltiies to express them that both reaches and touches the reader.
I feel you and other 'unknown's' rip the validity of one's writes right out of context when you focus on the small stuff and belittle it, ie: ALL CAP's/CAP TITLES, ect.
Other than the original 'unknown' you come across too critical!.. Of this writer's techniques. Even if you are just intending input; sometimes it's not necessary to give, twice.
I wish people would begin to listen with their hearts rather than be content in finding fault with, dare I say:... 'unknown's' might not have talent/vocal-ability to do themselves?
Sorry, not intentional to be rude, just my observation.
Aiyana
P.s. Couldn't you have come up with something other than 'unknown #2' sounds like a conformity, a copy. Why not be original? Why not stand out in the crowd?

Thank you all for replying to this post and I take your words very close to heart.
I think that the loundness and obnoxiousness is valid.
Aiyana sees this to be true and is not taken aback by it, she just accepts it as a certain writing style and nothing else.
If the entire piece was given in lowercase without capitals at all, would it have had the same effect ?
In my own way I am "Whispering at the top of my lungs"** with this piece and I think that I have achieved my aim.
The title that has been stated that I personally would like to call this piece is "Respect". Thank you Kevin, yet again for being able to borrow something from a perfect stranger.

"RESPECT", seems a very approprite title for this.
And no I don't personally think this piece done in lower case would have had the same effect, though I never took this (upper-case form) as screaming to the reader, nor the writer's attempts to be loud or with the intent to shove these sentiments down one's throat. That is why I don't even notice the caps, they are not as important of a thing to notice, as the context behind and within the write... Or at least they are not for me.
So I thank you, 'unknown' (J.)?, for the sweet comments regarding my earlier reply.
Definately deserving of the title "RESPECT'.
Good luck
Sincerely,
Aiyana
