Looking back ,i saw her standing on the shore
with evident signs of sweet indulgence
Looking back i saw her ,singing strangely
about people and dreams the ocean takes away...

Looking back ,i saw her standing on the shore
with evident signs of a broken heart, and sadness
Looking back i saw her ,singing strangely
about broken promises ,and ungranted dreams that were let astray...
Hey Hey
Looking back, I saw her standing on the shore
with evident signs of sweet indulgence
Looking back I saw her, singing strangely
about people and dreams the ocean takes away...

Looking back, I saw her standing on the shore
with evident signs of a broken heart, and sadness
Looking back I saw her, singing strangely
about broken promises, and ungranted dreams that were let astray...

Looking back, I saw her standing on the shore
with evident signs of intuition
Looking back I saw her, singing strangely
about the past, the future, the possibilities and the changes...

Looking back I saw her, singing strangely
about the past, the future, the possibilities and the changes...

Looking ahead, I could see this was going nowhere
having not more than oppressive repetition
Fortunately I looked again, and she changed her tune
and now it's not so strange in its intention.

Looking back I saw myself, watching her, reflecting on my own process
Her beauty, simplicity, openess; My self loathing, loss, duplicity
Looking back she was looking forward
It was only I that was alone...
