Hey Hey
A Colourful Life

Too blue to smile again
Too green to accept their success
Too yellow to fight on
Too black to find a way
Too white to see where to go
Too grey to have aptitude
Too red to keep a calm debate
Too pink to enjoy the sun
Too brown to migrate to the west
Too transparent to hold a head high

Hey, Hey Hey, I like this one very much.

I once did a sonnet on the visible light spectrum; it is T. S. #146, on page 75 of my book. Have you received your copy from Lulu yet, by the way? I hope you enjoy it.

I love all your poems, even as I love you.

Do be encouraged, and thank you so much for writing and posting your work.

Thanks also very much for your kind reply to my sonnet about Teddy and me and our Saturday on the town. I was wondering if anyone were going ever to notice that one... Indeed you are right, there was nothing elusive there. My fancy father disinherited and disowned me quite. I suppose anonymustnot-annoymemost would call that a "poor me sonnet," eh? It is not, as you could see; it was a journal entry of a happy evening with my youngest child. The seasons are changing and I found it necessary to wear a light jacket; I showed him my father's silk jacket from Japan, when he was in the war and the occupation, and Teddy and I thought it looked really cool, so I wore it. I am going to wear it a lot now! Everybody loved it! It's one of the few things I have from His Grace, His Lordship, His Serene Indifference.

Peace and love to you, dear Hey Hey, and I hope you get my book soon and like it. Would you be willing to rate it on Lulu, and perhaps write a review of it there? And aren't I a bloody bother?

I hope the Republicans have a hellish nightmare of a convention; I hope people from all over the world will descend on the convention site and let them know just how much we hate the bastards who have destroyed this, the land where my father ruined my mother's life.

Hey Hey
Hi Steven

I got your book by download. I'm still reading. Hey, it's interupted my Latin course! And my piano playing! It's great. Of course I will write a reviews - my pleasure.

Thanks so much, Hey Hey.

Hey! Ho! Let's go!

Do you like The Ramones and The Sex Pistols as well as opera, as I do? I find myself listening to a great deal of punk of late. I'm a surprisingly angry little bastard: grrr! But also a happy chappy, a jolly chahlie, a mella fella. And I never even do anything F**KING wrong anymore... no smoking, drinking, utter utterness; it's nice, really. I do think it helps me to write much better to be as clear as I can be mentally, as I believe I am of late.

Do I digress?
Well, I guess!

What I mean to say is:

If you go there, as I'm sure you know, you can rate the book and review it. And I would then be an even happier chappier.

Thank you with all my heart for understanding me. I know it is apparently nearly impossible.

Ubi caritas, etc.
