Transcendental Sonnet #943:
Some Mistake from Fifty Years Ago

It's Saturday night and my son Teddy
Is here with me and destiny doesn't
Scare me quite as much as it often does

When he came here today I was ready
To go out on the town and it wasn't
Scary at all it was lovely because
I was with someone who cares about me

I wore my father's jacket from Japan
Teddy and he share a birthday you know
But Teddy will be a much kinder man
I'm glad he won't have to be without me

I have always been without my father
The Baron Lance doesn't want to bother
With some mistake from fifty years ago

Hey Hey
There's no messing with elusive prose here. Hope you enjoyed the time with your son.

Best wishes to both of you
