Still Out There Somewhere Tonight
Oh Silke are you still out there somewhere tonight?
I reach from the void within to the void without
I reach until my arms ache straining for the light
In the darkness of my soul I have lost my sight
The stars are falling on me they are burning out
I search the skies with blinded eyes so many lies
Taught me when I was weak and small cruelest of all
Was the lie that someday I would be big and strong
Weaker and smaller now I know that they were wrong
They knew it all along they knew it all along
Their hearts were broken but they lied to comfort me
And now they are all gone and now their lies live on
Oh Silke I am blind but my eyes ache to see
That you are still out there somewhere tonight with me
