This poem is just for you
A thank you for all that you do everyday to brighten my life
Little things…..Inconsequential to you I'm sure
The smallest contact from you lightens my soul
I smile, I laugh, I'm giddy
I look forward to the evenings…Knowing that is our time
My breath catches in anticipation of your first hello
The sunshine in your smile is contagious, breaking forth an answering reply from my lips
You exhilarate me…..I'm alive…I float
Silver-lined clouds keep me aloft in a bubble of pure joy
You honor me with your sharing
Parts of your life that have been painful, tormented
The gifts you give me are timeless, nameless, effortless
A part of your soul which I will cherish until time ceases to exist
I live for our moments together, still so few but each one infinitely special
And so my thank you ends, my dearest friend
My hope only that you cherish it as much as I cherish you

I really like this, Meesh; it's really sweet. Being in love myself, I truly understand how you feel.
It's a fresh and refreshing poem about real and true and good feelings. It is just the sort of poem I needed to read today.

I think all that nonsense with that troublesome person is behind us now, thank God; I think we are in for more peaceful and happier times hereabouts now, at last.
We really were once a very harmonious place, believe it or not, and I am confident that we are becoming so once again now. I am utterly worn out from all that nonsense, I can tell you that...

Thank you all for your kindness and encouragement. I will continute to post my poems and I can only hope that they all receive the same acceptance as these have done.
You make my heart soar. Freedom of the spirit allows the creativity to flow
