This is an amazing piece. I would have to "ditto" the replies above. I don't know that I have seen anyone ever put together so many "variables in one's life" as Aiyana so eloquently put it. It was a very refreshing write that you posted here and is the essence of poetry at it's purest, unforced, flowing, graphic, visual, impulsive, evocative, engaging, and touching. I think this is my favorite of yours. I would also have to note that your spelling, grammar, etc. has come a long ways. This tells me your are really growing and maturing in your writing...and taking the time to make sure it reflects the pride and creative talent of the wonderful person that wrote it...you. I am so glad to see this post. You should be ever so proud of yourself. I feel as though you are really emerging into a new level of your poetry with this one. Way to go!
