Transcendental Sonnet #891:
When the Moon is High
Why is it we are drawn so to the sky?
Because we are held down by gravity?
We find ourselves bound with feet to the ground
And cannot rise at will to soar and fly
The way I get around this is at night
When I project myself into the sky
My spirit knows no gravity is light
And leaves my body here to rise to fly
Unfettered by the limits of the earth
My spirit weightless limitless and free
A brief vacation from this mortal birth
Does wonders for my peace and harmony
Tonight then Silke when the moon is high
Your spirit will join mine to take the sky!

Dear Steve,
Hitting the proverbial nail on the head again !
The release of your own spirit which has no reason to believe in the laws of man can transcend any and every barrier.
Namaste

Oh Steven;this turned out to a WONDERFUL sonnet!...your heart is indeed the heart to of a great poet....
"The rain may be falling hard outside,
But your smile makes it all alright.
I'm so glad that you're my friend.
I know our friendship will never end."
(-- Robert Alan)
I Love you baby

I agree.. love your stuff.. Destruction is creation, says the Destructors (and Donnie Darko)... and destruction and love have an odd relationship that you presented in an interesting fashion... good job

Angel, thank you with all my heart for that wonderful card you sent me; it was indeed the very image of you flying over to be with me always.
I have sent you a card now too... I hope you like it. It has this sonnet within it.
I love you!
Hoer auf zu beben!
Bereite dich zu leben!
Come and be with me, and we will spend our days in ecstasy.
Ich liebe dich!
