First let me say hello to everyone, my name is kila and I am a 20 year old college student. I'm  really new to this. I have enjoyed writing for a while now, but never thought it was any good. So I am hoping with the help of some really great people here, I will be able to listen, learn, grow, and enjoy what I love doing. (writing) . Thank you so much to everyone for all the advice. Keep writing cause I enjoy reading.

I hope you didn't mind my 'joke' about the clone!

To create a new post.
eg on the welcome board, ie this board, click on welcome in the small directory picture immediately above the board [top left].
On the top and bottom lines of the welcome board you will see options to click on for 'mark as read', 'create new', and 'create poll'.
'Create new' is the one you want. The same idea is used on all boards.
