laughter where did it go
replaced by singleton blues
i held you once upon a time
when the streets where nil of voices
and the whole world was mine
songs sounding in my ear
these melancholy blues
i still remember those nights
conversation flowed like wine
when the moonlight stole my breath
and the star filled sky was mine
i cried joy that november
now i cry the isolation blues
i remember the words whispered
the breeze carry them away
when we held love newborn in our hearts
i remember well how loves dream ends
fading are these memories of how it starts

Thank you heartily silke, i've changed it a bit i didn't think the second stanza was strong enough if you know what i mean. Here's the new version:
laughter where did it go
replaced by singleton blues
i held you once upon a time
when the streets where nil of voices
and the whole world was yours and mine
songs sounding in my ear
these melancholy blues
your smile would steal my breath
as we'd walk the midnight paths
in the heart time holds no value
when you think love is forever
when we thought we'd see forever through
i cried joy that november
now i cry the isolation blues
i remember the words whispered
the breeze carry them away
when we held love newborn in our hearts
i remember well how loves dream ends
fading are these memories of how it starts
