Dear Silke !
Praise be to thee who read this and take heed
This girl knows a "dork" when she sees him, the ever present demand from a jealous male mind.
Take a bow Silke. Yet again with few words you paint a picture worthy of thousands of hours of debatical subject matter about male orientated thought processes and wishes.
As a male I am ashamed to admit the similarities to my own thoughts ïn my younger years, as a human I relate to the opposing side. well done Silke.
In awe and respect

Hi Mausi...
I've been thinking about this poem all day, and about what a dork indeed--and you used exactly the right word for him--this guy really was to not just accept you as you are. Because you are fantastic, just as you are! Really, objectively; you're the greatest girl I've certainly ever heard of. This guy made it seem like some sort of sterile job interview or loan application. What a dork!
Well, you know I love you just as you are, and I sure appreciate that you love me just as I am. There's nothing not to love about you. Me, I'm not so sure about... In any case, I truly feel loved unconditionally, and I hope you do too. Honestly, there isn't a thing I would change about you if I could. I hope someday you will see how wonderful you are, and why I love you so.
I love the way you write about these things, with such directness and vigor. You tell 'em! I'm with you all the way. And Dara's right about this picture; it's really beautiful. it reminds me of the sunsets we had in Yuma, Arizona, over the desert. They were red like that. And the sunrises too, for that matter... Come to think of it this looks more like a sunrise.
"Red sky at night, sailors delight;
Red sky at morning, sailors take warning."
That dork had better take warning! I think I'll kick his a*s!
I love you, Silkchen Mausi, and I love all your poems.

Oh, hon, yeah. I wouldn't say dork though. Loser springs much more easily to mind. Oh, well. His loss!
