Transcendental Sonnet #813:
For the Woman I Love

Just as you are as you are right now
Your every tear a star in the sky
Your every scar a rising red dawn
The brokenness of your fragile frame
The SILKEn seduction of your name
Forever until always is gone
I belong to you and you are my
Hope for meaning in this life somehow

The fire of our passion roars and leaps
And we are engulfed and set ablaze
We are consumed by heat and by light
Aching love screams glory through the night
Always always always all our days
And our sweet obsession never sleeps

Thank you, Misty.

The structure illustrates intimacy, with couplets--pairings--in the middles of the two sections, which sections are also analogous to male and female.

Here is the rhyme-scheme:

1 A
2 B
3 C
4 D
5 D
6 C
7 B
8 A

9 E
10 F
11 G
12 G
13 F
14 E

I hide all sorts of Easter eggs in my sonnets. There are plenty of puzzles.

I make these things as little gifts

Beautiful!Lovely! You DO make me smile.....

Der Wunsch

Du holder Gott der süß'sten Lust auf Erden,
der schönsten Göttin schöner Sohn!
Komm, lehre mich die Kunst, geliebt zu werden;
die leichte Kunst zu lieben weiß ich schon.

Komm ebenfalls und bilde Phyllis' Lachen,
Cythere, gib ihr Unterricht,
denn Phyllis weiß die Kunst, verliebt zu machen;
die leichte Kunst zu lieben weiß sie nicht.
(Friedrich von Hagedorn)

I wish you were here, with me....

I Love you....
