I know what i want to say to you
and i know how i want to say it
and i wish i could say it right here and right now

I know what i want to say to you
I just don't quite know how to do it
and i wish i could do it right here and right now

I know who i want to be with
and i know how i want to be with
and i wish you could be here right here and right now

I know who i want to be with
I just don't know how to make it that way
and i wish it could be you and me, right here and right now

And I know, everytime I tell someone what I think, I hear, "I like it that way." Rightfully so, it is yours. And in a sense, it is not yours. Once it is shown to another soul, it enters a new world. Regardless of whether a reader puts it on a scale, calling it good or bad or some where in between, it is released to live, to stand on its own. To place it in a more specific situation, here it is on the critique board so that it might be given some form of value. It's a piece of you, but criticism is important for growth. And I want to give you a piece of me as well. My piece could be my own work, or entering into discussion of our work.

A friend of mine in college produced 3 cds in a studio he built in his garage. To his credit, I thought he had talent. He made emo rock, and was descent at it.
Justin Rice, this musician, wrote music for a violin, and cello on his second record.
He enter a battle of the bands, and was asked to produce a soundtrack for a movie. The producers were associated with (The) Dave Matthews. And Matthews partly funded this indy-film.
I played guitar myself, and so I asked Justin, "How do you make music?"
He said, "No one knows how to make music. The only people who know how to make music are people who compose music."

This is here. This is what we do. We don't know how to write poems. And it is assumed that we are making poetry because we post them on board for poetry. I call your dotted i's and crossed t's poetry. But there is no formula for writing poetry. There are rules to follow; there are rules to break.
You're right if you say you like it just the way it is. But what do we really know about what you are writting unless you tell us. The words you choose are vital. The line breaks, emphasized words, are small pieces of you that the reader can pry open and search deep within you. We scream at the top of our lungs:

Roses are red,
Violents are blue,
I say just one thing,
I love you.

These words we yell make it possible for listeners to peak inside our hearts. Your words peak deep inside of me.

Show me what you want to say to him. Show me how you want to be with him. Show me who you want to be with.
