The Thorn

The thorn in my side,
it tears at my flesh.

The blood starts to run....
I feel like a mess.

The pulling apart
of the strength that I need,

it happens so slowly.
I hurt and I bleed.

Need something to lean on.
Reach out. Start to fall.

Dear Lord, help me endure
the pain of it all.

I still pray, and I pray for you always.

You are all I care about. Everything else just slips away and disappoints. Even this forum we have built and loved so well... slipping away now, disappointing. I hope we can move it all successfully to wherever our exile is to be spent...
