I can't live in the present
When "the best is yet to come"
But what if that's just a lie
And the best is already done?

What if I've wasted my best years
Planning for better days
What if I missed my cue
Searching for better plays?

How do I live in the 'now'
When tomorrow is a better gift
Why focus on one grain
When there could be whiter sands to sift?

How would I know that today was
The best day of my life
If I can't stop planning on
The promising worries of tonite?

And what if I stay in the dark forever
Because I was too busy
Planning for tomorrow?

-calm down baby bird.

To live in this so-called Now there is no tomorrow, there was no yesterday
there is only THIS moment. Memories of yesterdays are carried along with this here Now- therefore you recall that memory and place it with Time, that had a date, an age, a place, a you. ect.

Time is a silly human concept to help define his nature. Cuz its all about learning and learing more after that and when you think youve learned it all THATS when a little whisper says ..."you aint seen nothing yet, kid." enjoy.
