I don't know whether i should give
or how much from you i should take
please forgive my indecision
there is no easy answer
when there is a heart at stake
i query the sun shining
it just burns these hands
that touch you
falling slowly from the sky
i ask answers of the moon
it's just mirrored in the water
reflecting in these eyes
from which the tears flow through
the broken wings of the dove
with pain too much to bare
trying to fly into the night
like this heart i hold dearly to me
longing for the peace found in flight
i don't know whether to love you
when it'd be so much easier to hate
please forgive my indecision
i'm searching for the answer
before my heart belongs to fate
i let the wind guide me
it just whispers nothings in these ears
that hear you breathe
and gently passes by
i ask nothing of you
you give everything you possess
from your beating heart
but mine's not ready to recieve
the broken dreams of the soul
carry with them memories
that are impossible to forget
like this broken heart of mine
so full of hurt full of regret
