One I Love Awakens
I find the night far preferable to day
When tiresome folk have fallen fast asleep
And though it's night here somewhere far away
Across a great wide ocean dark and deep
One I love awakens with thoughts of me
No matter night nor day we share our dreams
Both moon and sun smile on our love it seems
Where my heart is there is the light for me
So quiet here soft summer velvet sky
As there a new day dawns for her as she
Communicates the love of her pure heart
To mine as we transcend all time all space
To be more intimate than face to face
A union night nor day could never part
