Wow! The colors are amazing! I love that wash effect, the lightness of the colors and the textures, which you use to such good effect in especially the first two sunscapes, as well as the face in the last image. I see the Swedish colors in the third image! I love what you do with the dialectic of line and color in the fourth, and the delicate, ineffable tracery of plant-life, like fossilized flowers, in the fifth. Then that hauntingly beautiful face, which is the source of light for the entire image, at the same time foreground and background, approaching and receding, still point and dance, enigmatic and strangely veiled, the soul of the sixth and final image. Magnificent.

Remember I told you how the Lances would sit of an evening and discuss my grandfather's photographs for hours? I wish they could see these images! I want to spend many happy hours with you, and with the works of your hands, sharing.

You are a sublimely talented and altogether dazzling young woman, and I am the luckiest man in the world to be your chosen one. Thank you, with all my heart, for loving me. We are a couple of artists together, a perfect match.

I also want to thank you, by the way, for posting those Heine translations on the favorites board. I have always felt so close in spirit to Heinrich Heine, and I love to read his work. I wish more Americans knew and loved him as I do. Thank you for posting those poems, as well as all the other wonderful and useful things you bring to the attention of our readers. I, for one, follow every word of the abuse and eating disorders boards; the words you post there have helped me more than most people could ever imagine.
