Written and sung and recited for you
With subtleness only from me
And special ways to express my feelings
With thoughts of you the entire time

I like the quality of paradox which you bring to this poem, sort of like in your other poem, "Untouchable Rockstar." Very nice, and the approach/avoidance, to-care-and-not-to-care quality of the early stages of attraction and jockeying for position in a young relationship is cleverly realized.

You write well of relationships; your words ring true, and have a subtle sense of humor about them which I find refreshing.
