Forever suppressed by History

Gaze upon the rigid screening of souls
Systematicly separating worthy from worthless
A machinery, cold hard steel fueled by rage
Towards sovereignty, a superior force

A rape of mankinds intelligence
Equally a proof of our ignorence
Paving the way for total vigilance
Forever suppressed by history

Yes, it sure seems that we are forever suppressed by our histories. I wish that were not the case, but it is true for many of us.

I absolutely adore wolves(I am assuming that is a wolf in the pic). They are supreme animals, smart, loving and intelligent. Beautiful image to go along with your poem!
Love,

There's my girl! That's Dr. Silke Lance talkin', she who has a doctorate in history (not to mention another in mathematics)!

I agree with you completely, and I'm so proud of you for how you have expressed this truth here in this fine and succinct and cogent poem of yours.

You're the brightest and best, my beautiful butterfly bride, and I love you. If anybody criticizes this poem, I will personally hunt them down, skin them and gut them (just kidding... NOT).

You're my hero, remember that. You're going to beat this cancer, this heart disease, and all the manifold stupidities of this twittering world. And I will be right there with you, by your side.

You and me, babe, you and me.
