Yeehaw!
Swimming in the fluorescence,
it sparkled and outlined our nubile bodies,
that glistened like celestial lights in the dark salt water,

as the stars shot across the

night sky.

For that brilliant, brief moment, we were magical mer-girls.

Whimsical fish-women,
rich with sand dollars.

Finders of sharks' teeth, fearless of crabs or sting-rays.

Sung to by seagulls,
Mer-girls, we wore clothed in shimmering silver waves.

I'm starting to pick up on your style. Each stanza is one image for the reader. "Night sky," it's so simple since everyone can see a night sky.

What does mer-girls mean? Mer? As in Gold, Frankensense, and Mer?
+Steven Curtis Lance
Mer as in sea, Joey, like in the word mermaid. That other myrrh is aromatic tree resin.

Mer-girls are sea-girls.
