My dearest darling girl!
What a happy surprise to find this beautiful poem here. More and more I am becoming convinced I should just spend my time here on my own board, and let the ambitious interlopers have the other boards, especially that damned poetry critique...
In any case, if it comes to my no longer being welcome anywhere else hereabouts, I will still have our treehouse here, and I will still have this poem. It really is beautiful, and I am so grateful to you for it.

Silkchen Mausi, as soon as I had finished posting my rather gloomy reply, above, I heard from you, and we had a nice visit. And now I feel so much better.
I'll be double-dog-damned if I will be run off my poetry boards! No way. I will stay right where I am, and be more active than ever. I am a POET, and I have been one for thirty-four years, and a professional for twenty-four. My depression and anxiety play tricks with my mind... making me fear and doubt... But I came here as a founder of this forum, and I will never leave, nor retreat from any part of it. I know Shawn wouldn't want me to ever back down or back away; I know he will always support me, no matter what.
And, best of all, I know that you, my beautiful wife, will always support me, no matter what.
Thank you so much, thank you with all my heart, for being proud of me. All my poetry is for you. I love, want, and need you too.
Did you know Steven means "crown"? And my middle name, Curtis, means "courteous." I don't feel like much of a crown, but I do try to be courteous.
