love, anticipation.
anxiety, motivation.

depression,
void of will,
lack of a pill.

drugs, intoxication.
insomnia, hallucination.

depression,
a soul to kill,
a mind is ill.

hope, anticipation,
desire, expectation.

depression,
a state to fight,
in the dark of night.

love, illumination,
need, excitation,

Will, Revelation?

I'm not that depressed of a person, but I have my days... smile.gif

You may not have noticed, but you went up and down throughout your poem. It starts with love, then into depression. And then drugs, and then into depression once again. This cycle is continued, as the upswing takes the role of a coping with the depression.

Thanks for your comment!.... That was the intention of my poem. I did not feel so great when I wrote it. I always try to ward off any depression and talk (or write) myself out of it. An internal struggle I guess. For every down their is an up, or atleast I like to think so. Will, revelation.. i figure anyone can will themselves out of melancholia.
