Transcendental Sonnet #700:
Unfold Life Like the Lotus!

Wrestling with questions of such great moment
Ultimate life-decisions which foment
Fundamental change and which rearrange
The future and how I will remember
The present looking back in December
All filtered through the prism of the past
Where will I be when I look back at last?

Wherever I am wherever I go
Whatever happens next this much I know
That somehow Silke will be with me here
That perfect love casts out imperfect fear
That I am the luckiest man I know
That Silke loves me I love her and so
Unfold life like the lotus! Bloom and grow...
