Just Is

Some things… just are,

You can’t do it because It’s not something to do.

You can’t stop obeying It because there is nothing to defy.

You can’t stop It because there is nothing to stop.

You can’t change It because there is nothing to change.

You can stop believing in It, but It will still exist.

You can despise It, deny It, defy It,

and It will still exist.

It can’t be undone because It has already been done, or It is being done.

Its something that...

It just is.

This part I would probably change a little... I kind of dont like it.. Why? It sounds like a 'cliche'... Dont get me wrong, I like your poem but that part just bugs me a little smile.gif

Another thing, you use 'exist' a lot, perhaps try another word, just a suggestion..

THis is my favourite part...

THanks for sharing.. Good writing...

What is "IT?" I'd like to hear more content that explains exactly the problem.

"It" "is" interesting...

snowflakes got a point: this poem could lead the way to many other poems that it seems to imply...
that is exciting.

i know, this is a vague critique, sry. but, it is ironic, because that is the same issue with this poem. ppl generally think in scenes and pictures. if you could paint one or a few for us, the profoundness of this poem could explode.
