Unknown destination

Departing for unknown destination
A journey for miles and miles
Alone without companion
Alone for adventure and trial

Releasing all security
For that which is to come
Though still responsibility
Although I will be gone

Departing for unknown destination
My goal is not in sight
Perhaps I'll never reach it
Perhaps, but I will try

Dear Silke,

If only you knew how much I identify with this piece !

Aghast and in awe

Yes, life as process, life as a journey; they say the journey is the important thing as a thing-in-itself, more so than the destination.

I want to go with you, my dearest darling girl; may I come along with you?

I love you.

Agreed, Steve, life isn't about the destination.

Although, I am led to believe that life's journeys are best experienced with someone. If I were alone, honestly, I wouldn't even know who I was.
