Full Version: The Mystic Silhouette

Atop the old castle she stood
Her tresses swaying like a serene stream
Gently caressed by the whispering winds
Moon beams lit the castle in radiance
A precious monument wreathed in the mists of Time.

And her wait continued…
For her dream man on a white stallion
Clothed in the purest robes
Of the warriors of Light
Who were destined for castle maidens
Who stood waiting on a moonlit night.

Standing there so patiently…
She yearned to recast history
To fill the pages of Time with new realities
Just like the famed Aladdin once did
With a mysterious smile she lingered…
Her tresses bathed in a million moon beams
With gilted stars in her forest curls
Her hands uplifted as in an embrace
A slender mystic silhouette of the night
Wrapped in the moonlit twilight…
A picturesque sight to behold
For travelers on the dunes of Time
A glorious beacon for lovers.

Many twilights have gone by
Many sunsets have been embraced
And the wait still continues…

A wonderful scenario is played out when you read these lines, an acute wanting to be her knight so her waiting could be over ...

Sweet without being too sweet

Bravo, I started my day by reading this, it will be a good day

Thank you
