SEARCHING FOR ANSWERS

A word of warning : this report is written in “the common tongue�. It is not meant to appeal to a single layer of society, but to them all. It is written to you, the human you. The human that is buried deep inside of you but isnt allowed to voice its opinion, due to the restrictions of conformity and a will to be unique but never alone. It uses phrases not normally associated with this subject matter. It is meant to make you think of the realities of our so called lives. It removes the need for political correctness, as this factor only tends to smother the reality of a situation.

I am under no illusion that well meaning, highly educated specialists will deem this work to be of no use, whatsoever, so to those “dinosaurs� I say, take off the blinkers that have lead to your tunnel vision and open your eyes to a new way of thinking : global thinking. You are an expert in one field, in this world there are many fields.

For those who think they have already written global theories, but still use the phrase “ Brotherhood of man “ etc… Well to you I have only one thing to say : I am Human, a TWO gendered species, maybe you forgot your mother gave birth to you ? Maybe you forgot for a large portion of your young life you were totally dependant upon this female ? Maybe you forgot without her, YOU WOULDN’T EXIST !

I don’t subscribe to one school of philosophy, as a free-thinker, I can subscribe to them all.

For the rest of the human species, who know the only way to achieve global peace and understanding is through the teaching of true equality and respect for others, I say : please read this report and if you agree with it, even if only in principle, then tell those who matter to you, about it. One report will not change the world. That is why this report is the start of an “open source� solution. People from all over the world can contribute to the way it is supposed to be translated into local understanding.

All versions of this solution will be similar but none will be the same. A European cannot understand fully what it means to be African, American or Asian. It would be very presumptuous of me to think so, and wouldn’t be showing them the respect they deserve. Please read it with an open mind, you never know ……..

IT JUST MIGHT BE RIGHT.

What is this life for ? Why do we do the things we do ? Why do we think the way we think ? What is the driving force of anything ? Is it the driving force behind everything ?
If war is the only way to everlasting peace, is the only way to achieve this, the extinction of the human species ? Just because the human species has never had the possibility of achieving global peace without conflict, does it mean it never will ? Or could ? Or should ?

I know not many people ask themselves these questions on a regular basis, if ever, but I do. I know I am not alone in this world. I know that there are hundreds of thousands if not millions of people engaged in the pursuit of global peace. Some are more active than others, some have become world famous, others remain in obscurity. I supposed I am best described as being one of the more obscure.
I make no excuses for the way I am, but I have excuses for everything. It seems to be that for everything I am, I am not. This again is nothing new, many can identify with this postulate. This is the inherent duality found in every human being. Is it because we are the product of two individuals ? Two sets of DNA combined, where the end result is you ?

Why do educated people refuse to accept simple facts ? Where does the need for complexity come from ? Why do educated humans have more of a problem realising faults and accepting them ? Why is “humble-pie� the hardest thing to swallow ?

Why do men refuse to acknowledge, half of what makes them whole comes from their mother ? Why do many western beliefs allow the suppression of women, teaching children that male offspring have more worth ? Why does the love of your faith supersede the love of your parents ?

If the proposition of true love being the first love of your lives, then me being the obscure person I am, found this to be the love I had for my parents. I loved them way before I knew anything about the love I should have for the founder of my local environments faith. Then faith taught me of something they called “a higher love�. Yet again me, being the obscure person I am, deduced that true love has a lower worth than higher love.

This didn’t bide well with me. It brought the meaning of love into disrepute. What was I supposed to believe ? The entire question of love and its worth lead to yet another search for answers. Can a person solve the worlds problems and base it upon love ? Does the word love stand for anything anymore ?

In researching this solution I have found out quite a few surprising things. Many nations are not even interested in peace, they just want to get even for the years of oppression they and their ancestors have suffered at the hands of invading forces. They have become affluent and independent. The possibility for them to wreak revenge has come, and they do so, in spectacular style. So much so, they cannot seem to function without this conflict raging about them on a daily basis. They of course preach to the world that they only want peace, but even when they get the chance to stop the hostilities, and the world “holds its breath�, some poor misguided “sacrificial lamb� goes on a suicide mission and the conflict remains.

Other nations are too engrossed in civil conflicts that the world around them has no meaning. Despots and warlords governing smaller nations have no interest in global peace, they are primarily interested in fulfilling their own needs (and coffins). On the other end of the scale, there are nations who have the luxury of having a recent history almost void of conflict. They have become the power houses of technological evolution, and the religious schoolings taught there have segregated into so many different branches, its hard to fathom their common source.

The old “stalwart� nations, are so set in their ways, they have given up hope for anything like global peace and try to mediate peace between warring neighbours. Former kinsmen with new found independence. They once lived under a single flag and had a common “enemy� which was either the state, ruling party or opposing military blocks, now they have the right to their own independence, and so in typical human behaviour, they tear themselves apart. They have the audacity to cry peace, and called themselves freedom fighters, when in reality they have all fallen for the folly of independence, and become butchers, the kind of people they say they were against in the beginning.

It seems that freedom and peace are not necessarily bedfellows. In this strange world of ours, many places claim to have achieved peace, but it is maintained by fear. Soldiers patrol the streets with loaded weapons, ready to dispense peaceful solutions in a hail of bullets. Some parents think nothing of sending their sons and daughters away in a car packed to the brim with plastic explosives, their religious beliefs teach them it is not only acceptable, but very rewarding for the individuals involved. But if the same parents lost their child, because the “other side� sent their children in a car packed to the brim with plastic explosives first, they scream at the top of their voices, filling the streets with mourners, telling the world how unfair it all is. Telling the world that they only want peace, peace, peace…….. Then they swear revenge !

There is a phrase, that explains this typical human behaviour, it is not a nice phrase and you will never hear it on the evening news, or in a political theatre, but you can read it here, as I have every right to write what the rest of the world thinks about these people : F**KING hypocrites !

Too many highly educated and very intelligent people, have been working almost all their adults lives trying to find out a peaceful solution to single geographical areas. Some put their lives on the line, millions of combined work hours in producing pieces of paper, that once signed by a select few should achieve what everyone wants in the area, namely peace, and for what ?

How many times do we see, leaders gathered at the table, all shaking hands, smiling and writing their names on a document, -remembering to look at the camera at the same time - then within a very short space of time, they repeat the process. In between the signings the carnage continues, it really makes you think of their true validity.

In the international political spectrum these events are called “summits�. Yet again, myself being the obscure person I am, used to think that a summit was the apex of an entity, but in researching this solution I have found that there is no such thing as a political summit, this word only pertains to geographical anomalies. The only expression I have found that fits these supposed political “summits� is : political “false crests�. Any hill walker, mountaineer or “yomping� soldier, will tell you of the feeling you get in the pit of your stomach, when you think you have reached your goal and you realise there is still a long way to the top.

Further research has lead to the expression “hot-spots�. These areas are supposedly dotted around the world. No one seems to realise the entire world is a “hot-spot�. Conflicts in one region may not physically have an impact upon another region, say on the other side of the globe, but the aftermath and possible escalation of hostilities might, and very often do. We forget, no matter how many countries we divide this world of ours into, there is still only ONE world. Humans for all the “right� reasons, fight, but there are no “right� reasons, only wrong. For those who cry, we have the right to defend our way of life, I say the ones invading you are wrong. If they didn’t invade then you wouldn’t have to defend. As a free-thinker I have to see both sides of the story at ALL times. Nobody has the right to invade any other territory.

All nationalities have the right to exist according to themselves that is. Could it be possible for all nationalities to accept the same rights of all nationalities ? Not in the present it would seem. Some theorists subscribe to a possible solution being one where if all human life was put at risk by an oppressor or celestial body, the entire globe would put their differences aside, even momentarily, and pool their resources, to defeat it. Thus giving a new meaning to our existence and a global community. Well, sorry to be the one to point this out to you, ALL life on this Earth IS at risk of extinction and we don’t need some fantastic doomsday scenario, all we have to do is carry on doing what we do best, nothing !

We can just carry on, getting along with our so called lives, ignoring all the facts that are shown to us every single day, that the world is tearing itself apart at the seams. Conflicts will escalate, until there is enough reason to begin the first global war. A war where every nation will be forced to choose a side and neutrality becomes a thing of the past. The final expected war. With the capabilities we now possess, it is pure folly to presume that there will be any survivors, and if there were, would you like to survive in the radioactive hell that will be left ?

Mankind is pathetic ! Mankind is the reason we have the problems of the world today. It seems as if even the most learned of people in this world haven’t grasped the most basic facts of life. Women even refer to then selves as being part of “mankind�, only because there is no political tolerance to refer to themselves as “womankind�. In some faiths the deity is referred to as He, and we are supposed to have been “created� in His image. With this as their starting point, no wonder it all went wrong !

Here, is a very simple reason, why we ALL got it wrong, and no matter who you are and what you believe, you cannot deny the logic.

In the past nations were built upon one premise alone. The ability to be more powerful than your enemy. This power was measured by the size and capability of its armies. All armies were run by and consisted of men. Men sat in the seats of power long before women were allowed. The largest “natural resource� of any army is the amount of troops you have to fight with. It was imperative for large and powerful nations to have a “supply� of troops at their disposal. ( I know it sounds rather barbaric, but remember, in our history, barbarism was not something people frowned upon, in fact most empires were borne on the barbaric acts of their armies.) The rulers of the time were male, the scribes of the times were male, and no surprise here, the original deities always had a male God of Gods. It doesn’t take the intelligence of an educated human to work out the rest of the story, so I wont insult your intelligence. Suffice to say, male offspring were more celebrated (and still are in a lot of places in the world for some reason) than female offspring. Mankind was born a long time ago, its about time it joined the rest of our terrible history …………… in the past !

Men a long time ago in a bid for survival, made mistakes and we ALL have been paying the price ever since. It would not only be catastrophic to blame today’s male population for mistakes of their ancestors, because up until now, no one has come with a valid alternative to their way of thinking, it would also be repeating the same mistake. Remember time lines are linear, but history is cyclic.

With a global accept for the introduction of humankind maybe, just maybe, our species has a fighting chance of survival. The research used to arrive at the theory has been public domain. It is available to everyone, this is how it should be.

Dear Forum Members,

It has been a while since I have been able to contribute anything to this thread, but I hope that soon in the very near future i will be able to return once again and take up what I have left open for far too long.

In the abyss (that's what it felt like) of my absence, I have found many new and interesting theories. Consolidating them into a better and more palatable from has taken most of my time.

Away from the madding crowds and being somewhat of an oddity, it has been my displeasure to accept many new facets of human behaviour. These new and very bewildering aspects have lead to a breakdown of my belief in my fellow human beings. False pride and misguided attempts at believing the basic nature of humans as being inherently "positive", has lead to many new conclusions about us as a species.

Given time, I believe that I will be able to take all of this newly gathered knowledge and put it into a better structured and more co-herant manner worthly of this forum. I look forward to getting back into dialogues with the resident "masters".

Let's just hope my spelling improves as this seemed to be a major distraction factor, but as I have previously been known to say, " I'm not perfect, just damned close"

I take it you have become somewhat less enthusiastic about what motivates people?

If what motivates people in general is anything at all like what motivates ones own self in particular, then how could one become less enthusiastic about it, as it is what motivates one, by definition: enthusiasm is motivation, with gusto.

one word: disillusionment

So the disillusioned become apathetic? If one has no illusions, disillusionment isn't possible. Maybe there's a way to break it to them gently. Or maybe cold turkey is the only way.

I suppose that the apathy borne of disillusionment reflects the loss of the motivations generated through the recently-dissolved illusions. At such a point, one's remaining motivation may be significantly less 'energetic'. A 'spooling up' of energy through available channels must occur in order to return to previous 'enthusiasm' levels (or higher, if possible). During this 'spooling up' period, a person might appear less enthusiastic.

Maybe there's a way to disillusion suicide bombers.

Redirection is all they need to successfully rid them of their illusions!

Teach them to do it in empty places and we will soon be rid of them all.

They are a self defeating breed!
