Thank you all for your wonderful and very informative replies, I must say however, they really do have a tendancy to jump from one tangent to another. It seems the flow is somewhat stifled.

I agree totaly with the original post being one of a "fifth graders" capabilities, that is one of the major factors. If a fifth grader can understand it then I have achieved a goal, many of you cannot.

The answers to problems are best found in simplicity.

I am well aware that many people have written far more than I have on this subject and I should "open my eyes", but believe me my eyes have been open all the time.

Thousands of long complicated texts that try to explain the "unexplainable" (if I may refer to it as such) have achieved nothing other than to confuse the issue.
Great schools of thinking all trying to ensure thier version is the correct one, can be likened to the similarities of religious and or political beliefs.
The patterns that have evolved throughout this thread show this to be true.

The arguements have removed themselves from the original piece and it seems the "squabbling" amongst yourselves has taken over. This is typical human behaviour and although expected, it reaffirms my own fears. Learned people love to argue amongst themselves whilst the issues become less and less important.

I as a "simpleton" choose to consolidate vast amounts of information and put it into short easy to understand texts. My target audience is global, learned and simpletons alike. Different versions of the theory can and will be made available as time progresses.

The flexibililty of the theory allows for everyone to become an active part of it, whereas the vast majority of other theories are made specifically for a very closed environment.

The original text is only a brief introduction, used as market research. The results not only in this forum but many across the internet have been very rewarding. In the near future I would like to post some of the findings here so you all can see, the patterns that have developed.

The results are very surprising.

Thank you again for taking the time out to read my "paultry" effort, you have been more help than you could ever imagine.

Rhymer here! Forgot to log-in!

'Unknown', I do respect your right to believe the things you have written down. It is no surprise that you expect me also to believe your wordings, since you believe them to state the truth of mechanisms beyond our present true comprehension.
However, they do not assist me in comprehending the knowledge which I do not have to explain the fundamental questions which can be asked and are asked by all philosophers.
I am not even satisfied that there exist answers which we can be aware of to some of the questions we ask!
I can give you some examples of questions which have no answer which man will ever be aware of. So maybe there is no answer to some of the questions we seek to solve. All philosophers do is create models which might appear to explain some why's and wherefores, when in reality the questions are false because they have no true answer.
I do realise that many thinkers are going to become totally bored when the long list of philosophical questions have all been answered [in reality they won't be, because many models to explain things will become available and nearly all will remain un-proveable and un-dis-proveable].

In the meantime it is enjoyable to try and remain clearheaded, study all models and discard those which don't 'ring true' for ourselves. Otherwise, we miss the opportunity to become aware of better or more realistic or probable models.
It is for each of us to give up, or choose what to accept and then give up, when we think we have what seems right to us each.

I personally wish there were a Universal consciousness. This would kill crime immediately. But, it would also make life very boring. There would be no need to talk to anybody because you would already be 'in their head' and know the answers to your questions, or the responses to your statements. I write to you now because there is no Universal consciousness. [I may lack the ability to detect it if it does exist - I have just chosen one word out of this paragraph to see if you can detect what that word is and threby demonstrate that you have Universal consciousness. Or do I need a 'transmit' capabilty as well as the 'receive' capability].

John,
I look forward to reading any feedback you may supply.

Dear Ryhmer,

As soon as I have waded through this set of dialogue and gathered a few more, I can pm you a rough report if you wish, then put a finished report here on the board.

Thanks for your interest.

regardless of belief, I thank you all for this stimulating conversation which was initiated by John's courage in posting his thoughtful essay. Dan, I will take up your question, and all other questions, in due time.

[btw, John, Namaste is not a person's name. It is more of a gesture that means, "I bow (or acknowledge) to that which is divine in you"]

Thanks -unknown- for putting the record straight for me.

It just goes to prove that I learn something new everyday, and I thank you for your replies.

Dear Tabitha

Jack Parsons certainly belongs there. Here are some more:

Thanks for the response, Robert. I found your list highly interesting, I was just curious about the criteria when I read through and saw Parsons and others I thought fit in with the rest of them. I agree with most of your other additions in this post as well :-)

Take care;

Dear Tabitha

I have completed the book I mentiond last week that Shawn (here) has expressed interest in commenting on. I am now doing a book on alchemy which will delve into a lot more than a mere list of names. A Physicist/astronomer who is becoming a major promoter of my work (owner of World-Mysteries.com) has asked me to do this and it will include things that are even bigger than the Philosopher's Stone but in line with some of JP's work that led to the Jack Parson's Labs that a relative of mine is a semi-secret counselor for. It was my talks with her over 13 years ago that led to her getting this consulting position with the likes of Hollywood for JPL.

In regards to OP, although this theory (a hypothesis since its not really testable) is solid in some places and common sense in others, I don't feel it answers the correct questions that religion tries to answer.

Where did it all start from and why did it start?

What is conscious? Isn't it a reflection or fraction of God or the power behind the Universe?

Why has it become more ordered? Surely this improved order built our minds.

You mention duality and Heaven and Hell, but why is there duality and what does it mean?

You say all religions frown upon false idols, yet Hinduism (although not an organised religion) has many deities and worships them for what they are. Buddhism is all about everying being nothing. There are parralels between ancient Eastern ideas and modern physics, and conscious alteration is a part of those ancient ideas. You mention Animist beliefs but not the shaman who actually ascends the material plane and converses with entities to bring back knowledge. If all life contains carbon and DNA, then we may have the ability to converse with any imagined system of life on any abstract level. This would constitute a global consciousness and even go some way to explain reincarnation.

I believe that there is reincarnation, your theory doesn't disprove it. If we are constructed and destructed fron the environment, then something is powering that. Meditation is all about the mind letting go of everything and the realisation that everything is one. These beliefs go back before written history. It is possible that the force behind our conscious, the seed that grew the brain, the Divine before cultural and biological images began to be reflected.

Science has to become religion to make religion evolve along with our knowledge. Worship of one becomes teaching of the other and will help ease a lot of global issues.

Still I can see you feel enlightened, nice post.
