The master of the bargain,
earlier I had wished to be,
but now that I have new shoes,
I'm just glad they are on my feet,
If only you had seen me,
oh boy that would have been a treat,
I have tried so many on,
that my feet are feeling the heat,
I'm really just here laughing,
thinking of that large shoe-filled fleet,
My mom sighed on in relief,
that I found the ones that were neat,
Seeing how picky I was,
my good old brain sticks start to beat,
With how we get distracted,
in things like even what to eat,
We forget we can trust God,
for our needs He will gladly greet,
When we seek Him as our first ,
letting all else take second seat.
