is it possible for a natural manipulator to tell the truth? how can one tell if this person is lieing or just using you?
I can answer the first answer -Yes, it is possible for a natural manipulator or anyone to tell a truth.
The only way to tell if anyone is lying is to get to know them.
Only when you are familiar with their reactions to things and their ways of speaking can you have any hope of knowing, but even then if they have not been 100% with you from the start, it's going to be tough
