dude?! why is there no cussing allowed in here?
why are you censoring me?
afraid someone might get their little feelings hurt if they see a curse word? OH BUT DONT MIND THEM WATCHING MURDER/DEATH/KILL/RAPE/VIOLENT ON THE GOOD OLE BRAINWASH-O-VISION
Who in the "dern heck" are you to censor me?
with all this "mind expanding" information I thought maybe-perhaps you would have looked way way.....way over there --------------> beyond the concept of censorship, or i would have thought you wouldnt have even considered it...what a farse. what a hack.
go back to your New Age Retreat on top of Mt. Shasta.

my guess is that curse words are often a sign of obnoxious immaturity.

Cussing adds absolutely nothing to any argument or discussion!
It does, however, allow those who are unable to state their case properly, let readers know in which direction the writers vocabulary is strong.
Cussing detracts from any discussion.

I needed freedom from the tyrants of my life, to hate them with prejudice until I was free from the feeling of their tyranny. In freedom, I do not feel hate. If the feeling of hate ever arises toward another, then I unleash it immediately to maintain my freedom instead of submitting to the tyrant and accepting their toxic intentions

I think it's because if you call someone "by using
foul language", it just is so much more fun than the alternatives.

Let me tell you something about freedom of speech here. The freedom is only within the bounds of moderators approved by the forum owner (who pays for the running of the forum). If he/they do not want your bad language here then they WILL delete it. If you want to cuss freely, then spend your own money, start a forum and do your own thing. The internet is not free. We want sensible discussions on various aspects of science and art. On occassions an expletive can make a particular point strongly. But regular use of expletives is a demonstration of lack of care for (some) peoples feelings/standards and sometimes a simple slack attitude to descriptive language. I have no moderating powers on this particular forum, but had I so, I would not allow bad language. Minors also view these boards and they should not be exposed to this.
Trip like I do
