Robert the Bruce
Much of this was modeled upon the pan-tribal Druidic brotherhood that has been expunged from our human history.

THE BROTHERHOOD OF MAN: PRINCIPLES AND PLANS FOR HARMONY!

SPECIFIC PROJECTS:

l) End all standing armies (Einstein, Gandhi and Annie Besant)
A phased-in centralization of the present loose U.N. and NATO objectives will easily garner the support of over 100 nations. The small and often ill-equipped nations will love the protection but will they abide by the principles that must be agreed with and followed in a verifiable way. The long term objective of total disarmament will take time but save a lot of money and lives. If incentives and sanctions are properly constructed it will take very little more than education.

Action Plan:
i) The leaders of the G-7 nations will adopt the policy of the World Council on Peace and Love (Shalom), within two years from the formation of this austere group and their advisory councils, or Elders.
ii) Create a training academy for police people called the Bertrand Russell Peace Academy. It will report to the enforcement arm of the World Court in The Hague. It might retain the name Interpol but its methods and legal auspices will be enhanced.
iii) Utilize cost savings in every country according to the Principles and give first priority to the restitution of those disenfranchised through past actions of the Church (for example, women and natives). A small percentage of cost savings will be allowed to go to reduce taxes if educational goals are properly funded.
iv) G-7 countries will retain overall military budget including spy agency costs at the current level. These funds will be given to the International Police Agency and they will sit on the Board of Accountability for the expenditures and results. Citizen oversight will include Amnesty International and other agents shown to be in concert with the Principles. They may be encouraged to amalgamate their efforts and impact. This will save money and wasted effort or crossed purposes. This funding from G-7 countries who will disband all personal activities that empower themselves or lead to industrial or other espionage, will continue until the World Court determines all issues are dealt with and the Council may find other uses for it, in areas like Space Colonization.
v) Upon the recommendation of Council or the Police (and World Court) trade sanctions will be rigorously imposed. Incentives such as foreign aid will cease and those who break the laws will pay for the FULL costs of prosecution and not be allowed to participate in future governing activities if the charges are serious. Their cronies will not be able to hide behind them and all veils of structure and bureaucracy will be legally piercable.
vi) Educational targeting of the population of said countries will include information on how their leaders are engaged in any nefarious acts against the good of their citizens. This might include psy-ops equipment and will include the World Wide Web.
vii) Intervention by forceful means will start (if deemed warranted) through the use of laser weapons that are already in space, targeted at the leaders and their personal resources. Computer and other Info Warfare will include seizing bank accounts and creating havoc among the rich and elite of said country. Exceptions to this strategy will be made if these rich people have proven their continuing value and commitment to the PRINCIPLES in the eyes of Interpol of the World Court.

2) Earth Ownership of Space Colonies (John F. Kennedy and Francis Bacon)

Description - General:
The existing space agency that has twenty countries and is headquartered in Geneva will become the first coordinated Government FOR all people on Earth. The assets and profits less liabilities will be owned by the citizens and inhabitants of the countries who follow the PRINCIPLES. The Alaskan oil revenues might provide a model or example for how this is to be done. The Gene Roddenberry Institute will be created to examine the formulation of Prime Directives and enabling laws for utopian organizational structure and government in space. The populous nations of the world will have to institute more humane and realistic controls on the growth of their populations if they are given life-extending telomeres and gene-therapy. Their citizens will become major purchasers of goods and services that will enhance existing corporation’s profits as well as the enterprises in space. It will take a century before cash reaches the hands of the people on Earth and no hypothecation of these funds will be allowed. There will be a need to evaluate procreation rights as people live longer.

Some kind of entrepreneurial incentive plan without long term ownership of land could be used. It might be a management results oriented idea such as corporate bonuses in major corporations, with public funding administered by educational organizations such as research institutes or think tanks that are now functioning. There will be a great deal of job creation on earth as the assets that are now expended in bombs and weapons systems get diverted to productive purposes. The explosion of the bombs wastes the value of the target as well as the bomb and its delivery support administration. The Mars terraforming project that could be paid for out of existing NASA expenditures is estimated to cost $5 Billion a year for twenty years before man can walk on the surface without a space suit. It will take a total of 150 years before the flora and fauna are quite like Earth.

Contemplative Initiatives:

i) Ethical issues must be fully considered before programs are ramped out. For example the von Neumann probes might upset the natural evolution of sentient beings on other planets as they take genetic material to these planets. My input (for what it is worth) is that we are entitled to do this on any planet that we have reason to believe has not developed a creature more complex that ocean life was on earth before animals. Beyond that there may be other situations wherein we need to be sure we are improving the soulful existence of the life that is on every planet.
ii) Funding of the space programs seems to be proceeding with a lot of magnanimous input from countries like the U.S.; and international ownership of the moon and even Antarctica show the necessary ethics are being proposed. However, I can imagine there might be corporate back room deals or Masonic involvement that we are not apprised of, by the media. It should be clearly projected and used as a model of human behaviour, so that anyone who wishes may take the time and inform themself about the plans for space. Sale of bonds bearing interest might accelerate the program to colonize the third planet in the Alpha Centauri system. It will take fifteen years to get there and a few years to build the space ships.

COUNCIL OF PEACE AND LOVE (SHALOM):
PRINCIPLES OF THE BROTHERHOOD OF MAN (IESA):

1. Love should be the guiding force in all actions. Any act that diminishes one life diminishes all life and the decisions of man must respect all life. Though the 'greater good' may sometimes lessen the potential of other life it should always be in view of a greater harmonizing growth of God (the 'forces of nature', Allah etc.). This principle might be known as ecumenicism. The head of the Club of Rome has recently written about the difficulty of finding these terms or Principles so that humanity can talk and plan together.
2. Laws shall exist for the benefit of everyone equally. Nations will not have double-standards of prejudicial content against women, for themself against other nations, or for any possible patronage or preference. Criminals will not be able to hide in sovereign nations to avoid the World Coutts laws.
3. In recognition of the immortality of the soul and the harmonizing purpose that all life shares in; there shall be a principle that might be known as beauty or ecology. The human life that sustains itself by use of the grace of nature will not act to destroy nature so that future generations will enjoy all that we can share. To this end sovereign rights will be limited and new technology will be regulated. The polluting effect of converting nature to the needs of man will be a priority of science to circumvent through replication technology.
4. Honesty and transparency of organizational behaviour will be paramount. Secrecy and empire-building will be altered through citizen oversight and sunshine laws that require organizations to continually rationalize their existence and try to minimize future need for their existence.
5. Corrective action to remediate the existing inequities will be a short term necessity. Immigration, pollution, ethnic and religious prejudices including the 'War on Women' will have to be addressed.

FORMATION OF THE WORLD COUNCIL ON PEACE AND LOVE (SHALOM):

Proposed Founding Members and the Process of Selection:

Jimmy Carter may be too old unless the telomeres are able to reverse the aging process in the near future. He would be a good person to assist in the selection and constitution of the people who would lead the first council; he could remain as an advisory panel participant and spokesperson.

Oprah Winfrey's 'Remembering Your Spirit' segment is in line with the educational approaches to ecumenicism. It could be expanded on the World Wide Web and used as a model for people to continue their education in night classes and parenting for 'Positive Value Systems' such as the approaches of logotherapy. Co-operative learning and group behaviour is something that should embrace each different learning style so that people who are linearly oriented will understand their creative spatial potential and vice versa. She would be a good candidate for the first Council membership which would only be six in number. Six is a good decision making group and it would be comprised of three women and three men. An argument could be made for more women on the first Council.
Oprah is well known and commands respect in business, media and the population at large. Her ability to galvanize awareness and diplomatic skills would allow her to be more than a great selection, as well as a role model.

Craig Ventner is the firebrand entrepreneurial scientist who made his mark in the development of the human genome map. His scientific approach to making things happen rather than conventional 'reductivist' paradigms would empower the group to be more creative and proactive. There are others who would fill this bill, such as Ray Kurzweil or Fritjof Capra. The term of the initial Council might be ten years and expanded to more time as the life prolonging techniques are put into common use. It would therefore be important for the team to enjoy each other and find the right mix of styles and approaches as well as expertise.

Marianne Williamson is part of a group of 'New Age' philosophers and philanthropists who have a similar ideal to what is being proposed herein. Their salons are new and have no present political goals but would be a great tie in with this educational and supportive Council. This group includes Deepak Chopra and Dr. Wayne Dyer, who are both excellent candidates for the advisory panels. They are all eloquent spokespeople whose influence and audience will support this idea. Marilyn Ferguson might be a good choice as well, and their nurturing personalities would be good for the team.

Gloria Steinem is well known and politically aware. She might be willing to become involved as a personal assistant or coach for an Islamic woman or the model who is leading the fight against genital disfigurement. It is good to have as many different ethnic backgrounds in this high profile position as possible in order to generate public enthusiasm and provide 'role models' for all citizens of Earth. Bill Joy has shown courage and 'openness' as well as having the background in technology that would enhance this team so that they might not need many experts to give input. I personally would not mind Bill Clinton being on this team, but I recognize he has some P.R. problems that would come with him. The legal and political savvy as well as the ability to reduce things to simple and communicative words is the gift he would bring to the enterprise. He might have a role as panel chief on Re-structuring the Law and authority of the World Court.

REMUNERATION AND AUTHORITY OF THE COUNCIL:
NONE!
The auspices of this organization will be to influence public opinion and their expenses would be paid for by grants and donations. They will set an example of volunteerism that will motivate and duplicate throughout all strata of humanity. Their message and ideas will be taken over the heads of political power seekers directly to the people in a fully trustworthy manner. This will make their diplomatic clout immense! There are Foundations of a charitable nature such as the $17 Billion one that Bill and Marilyn Gates are in charge of, which could do this without affecting the principal in their fund. Some of those involved in Marianne Williamson's social salons are well situated financially as well. Any politician who stood in the way of HOPE for all mankind might have a far shorter career than he/she had hoped to enjoy. This could even be true for the official head of the Knights Malta - the Pope!

Lovely ideas and ideals, but somewhat 'pie-in-the-sky', I think, given the current state of ethical development in the Western world. An open-doors policy by the nuclear nations to admit UN weapons inspectors would be a start, as would the destruction of stockpiles. However, the Armaments industry contributes such enormous amounts to America's GDP that halting it would cause economic chaos, not to mention huge unemployment. There are those of us, of course, who would see this as preferable to the way in which the USA currently disposes of its stockpiles, which seems to be declaring war every 10 years or so and inflicting "acceptable collateral damage" on nations unable to respond in kind..............
Robert the Bruce
Pie in the sky is better than 'the sky is falling'. The head of the Club of ROme gae a speech a year or so ago and he said we do not even have the words to talk to each other.

As to nuclear - it is minor compared to the other technological threats and the US has unilaterally withdrawn from SALT. One reason has to do with non-lethal or mind control weapons that they have a huge lead on the Russians with. SDI and Kucinich's attempt to limit the use of these in space is worth looking into.

The Conscious Use of "The Mirror Effect"
Co-Creating a Utopian World
Carroy U. Ferguson, Ph. D.
The time has come to entertain the "possibility" of transforming or evolving to another level of Consciousness, to the realization we create our own realities according to the nature of our beliefs. We are co-creators of our world, and not merely robots reacting to a world we have unconsciously created. Outward conditions are reflections of inner states of mind or inner states of Consciousness.

I call this the mirror effect. Theoretically, through its conscious use, humanity, at individual and collective levels, may create visions and conditions for a remarkably appealing world. This art of self-creation and reality-creation is the underlying framework for consciously evolving or co-creating a utopian world.

Through the media, other sources, and interactions with others that we may have "attracted," we begin to see and to focus on the world as being made up of haves and have-nots, of takers and those being taken advantage of. And, the data seems to validate our condition. We can lose sight then of our Essence, our meaning, our higher purpose(s) or focus(foci). We reinforce an either/or way of thinking and this method of thinking becomes habitual. Scarcity Consciousness seems more real and practical than the possibility of prosperity Consciousness.

Scenarios can be developed for emotion-backed demands for sensation and for power. For example, reasoning that "I have to compete for my space in life in order to be successful and have status" can lead, for example, to nations or groups battling over "the correct and most powerful way" to experience and practice religion and to have a "proper and powerful sense" of a higher being or God.

Out of fear, then, we distort meaning, value, and power. The ideas of sharing and collaboration can get distorted. Too many of us are caught up in such a dilemma of Consciousness, which is constricted and fuelled by fear. We distort the love principle, which when genuinely employed, creates the experience that we get more in return when we give. The love principle can set the tone for collaborative enterprises in a utopian world whereby win-win notions may serve as guidelines for action and as principles for common individual and societal practices.

To change the outward conditions, then, we must first change our beliefs and shift the focus of our inner states of Consciousness toward more expansive energies. These more expansive energies, which tend to have an archetypal nature to them, involve: (1) creative imagination derived from understanding and the desire for self-expression, (2) inspiration that is fuelled by love, wisdom, and compassion and the desire to serve others, and (3) intuition that validates the spiritual aspects of the self and the desire for unity.

For example, collectively, we, individually and collectively, have significant economic power as consumers if we would harness and channel it. Politically, the urge to validate the individual's voice through democratic processes and to have more representative forms of government have increased in the world, notwithstanding many human rights violations and issues.

In addition to diagnosing our problems, therefore, we need additionally to begin to embrace an expanded level of Consciousness which makes conscious the tools of self-creation and reality-creation so that we may build upon our positives and consciously create the kind of reality that works for us individually and collectively.

I realize that on the surface such a suggestion sounds overly simplistic and impractical, and to some may appear to be side-stepping "the real problems." I suggest, however, that the opposite is true. Indeed, the mirror effect cries out for us to see and to transform the destructive and unproductive aspects of a reality that we as a human specie are now unconsciously co-creating. I also realize that it is difficult to embrace a recommendation that we focus on Consciousness when many people are scared, hungry, do not have jobs, or are dealing with basic survival issues. And yet, what is more practical and survival-oriented than seeking to grow and to improve one's conditions consciously and consciously seeking to assist others in their growth and the conditions of their lives.

Consciousness precedes the outward conditions. This is the lesson of the mirror effect. Practically, then, each individual needs to ask him or her self, what do I see in my personal life space directly or indirectly as I look out onto my world? What is working and what is not? Each person then needs to listen to his or her more intuitively heroic impulses and to consciously take action in accord with these impulses to alter those conditions that s/he does not like. Each person must do this in his or her own way or join forces with like-minded persons in a supportive network. This is an act of self-trust and an act of consciously using the mirror effect to assist us in self-creation and reality-creation. It is through such efforts that we may begin to move toward the co-creation of a utopian world in practical ways.

How To Know If You Are Being A Conscious Co-Creator: So, how do we know if we are being conscious co-creators of our realities or are continuing to react in robot-like fashion to ourselves and to others. One method is to use the "mirror effect" and to assess our personal life spaces to see if we and our lives reflect some or all of the characteristics listed below.

Following, therefore, are twenty-four characteristics that might be helpful as we move forward into the 21st century. Conscious co-creators might have some or all of these characteristics.

1. You have released old programming and beliefs that no longer serve you.

2. You have drawn into your life supportive, positive people.

3. You empower yourself and others in all you do and say.

4. You know who you are, why you are here, and what your higher purpose is.

5. Your life-style and environment support your life purpose and greater work in the world.

6. You explore new possibilities and choices and continually expand your vision of what is possible.

7. You have the tools to draw to yourself the opportunities, people, and events you need to create your life's work.

8. You operate from your heart, and you trust your inner messages and take action upon them.

9. You are conscious of the energy around you, deciding when to be transparent to it, harmonize with it, or transmute it to a higher order.

10. You are aware of your energy and the effects other people have upon it.

11. You are present in the moment-alert, aware, and at a high level of observation all the time.

12. Your increasing aliveness, enthusiasm, and growth spark growth in everyone around you.

13. You create with energy before you take physical action.

14. You know you can create whatever you want by working with the higher forces and directing your thoughts, emotions, and intent toward your goals.

15. You create change by working at the highest spiritual level rather than at the personality level.

16. You stop before you take action, go within,, and receive guidance from your Higher Self about what action to take.

17. You know that anything is possible.

18. You know that through your understanding of how energy works you can consciously create what seemed like miracles when you had less understanding of the way energy works.

19. You are able to create what you want at a speed that seemed impossible at earlier levels of growth.

20. You are able to handle easily and joyfully the things that used to challenge you.

21. Your lessons come faster, but you will also have the tools to move through them more quickly and easily.

22. You have a clearer sense of direction, a greater feeling of being in control, and a deeper understanding of why things are happening.

23. There is an increasing calm that comes as you begin to enjoy and understand your life.

24. You can truly live a life that is joyful and loving to yourself.

As we, individually and collectively, develop the above characteristics for becoming conscious co-creators and consciously use "the mirror effect" to assess our worlds and to engage in the art of self-creation and reality-creation, we will be evolving or co-creating a utopian world.

Conclusion: We cannot legislate that people use the mirror effect to shift the focus of the inner states of Consciousness and to expand to another level of Consciousness, but one policy implication of this discussion can be directed toward educational objectives.

I would recommend, therefore, that at local levels school systems develop a curriculum that helps students to learn about the tools of self-creation and reality-creation and that such a curriculum be introduced at the early grades. I would also recommend that in various communities appropriate organizations and churches develop what I would call "Empowerment and Consciousness Courses" for adults, and after-school Empowerment and Consciousness courses and activities for youth.

The mirror effect appears to be showing us that we need to quiet the ego chatter in our minds that focus on emotion-backed demands for security, sensation, and power and to focus on more expansive energies that allow our higher intuitive knowledge to take root. When this kind of knowledge does take root, we then know that genuine security, balanced emotions, and the power to act and to create stem from inside of us and not from outside of us.

We also begin to understand that the tools for self-creation and reality-creation flow from our dreams. We begin to understand what it means to be a conscious co-creator and begin to understand the nature of what I will call our ever-evolving self. We must dare to dream of better realities and then choose to create them.

The following link shows that changes and indeed the whole idea of Direct Inference and theory has been altered greatly. New and creative models of reality should be at least given credibility and people should be exposed to the impact these things have in the mystical fields of our reality.

That http://www.electric-cosmos.org site looks intriguing if, for nothing else, its iconoclasm.

Iconoclastic - no doubt you think this means something and that people will be impressed by a label that you do not relate to anything specific or scientific.

No, you should doubt because it is completely irrelevent whether others will be impressed with what I say. What matters is the meaning conveyed, and though "iconoclastic" may mean nothing to you, it will mean something to many people here.

And since the site is specifically about elucidating how the cosmos is highly electrical in nature, which is contrary to mainstream scientific opinion (and hence labeled "iconoclastic"), my comment had as much specificity as I had intended given the time constraints.
Joesus
You cannot solve a problem from the level of thinking in which it was created.
This means that if you work at the level of thinking where problems are real then you do not see why it was created in the first place.

Everything that is created is connected to the group consciousness and if it was supposed to be different then Consciousness would create it differently.

Heal any misperceptions you may have in judgment and attachment to the world and then you may approach the world in a realistic atmosphere. One that allows you to be useful and helpful to those that wish to be helped rather than to intrude into the realities of another who does not wish to change and is not interested in your personal ideals.

Create your ideal reality and others of like mind will be drawn towards it if it is consciously created and in harmony with consciousness.

Create your ideal reality and others of like mind will be drawn towards it if it is consciously created and in harmony with consciousness.

And those of unlike mind will stifle and squash you if they feel that you are an interference.

This is all very nice and such, but honestly, the world isn't ready for world peace. Give us a few more millenia and perhaps the second coming.
Joesus
The world is infinitely flexible and ready for anything.
It only takes one person to change it.
Robert the Bruce
So you had time constraints and had nothing to say - except a ridicule or label. NOT communicative - just pubescent.
Robert the Bruce
Yes, that is a good rational assessment of the glacial movement to spiritual universe occurring. However, technology provides ways for life on earth to end in the next few years which will likely lead to there not being a millennia or a century in which to change to Brotherhood in recognition of life's collective.
ExodusNights
Pubescent. How.....unflattering.

I'm not trying to be difficult here. The crux of the matter is that no matter how ready you, or I may be for peace, love, and eternal brotherhood, the vast majority is not. Mankind is too caught up in the struggle for dominance, too focused on money, power, and politics, that they cannot move beyond.

Joesus says it only takes one person to change things. But it takes thousands, millions even to change the world. But the millions won't come together. We're all too caught up in the "me, me, me" of everyday life.

Don't get me wrong - I consider it a lovely idea. I just don't think that humans have evolved far enough yet.

Not that Shawn knows what he is talking about when he says this-

But the truth is there as Teilhard de Chardin said about the templates.
Robert the Bruce
Current psychological research shows there is indeed a NEED to belong and religion has been USED to address this and empower some through this NEED. I include part of my current book and I will highlight the section dealing with the research.

Howard Bloom chose an interesting title for another of his books. From Bloom's The Lucifer Principle available in an excerpt from the web we have,

NOTE:

"An even broader investigation by James J. Lynch of actuarial and statistical data on victims of cardiovascular disease indicated that an astonishing percentage of the million or so Americans killed by heart problems each year have an underlying difficulty that seems to trigger their sickness: ‘lack of warmth and meaningful relationships with others.’ On the other hand, research in Europe suggested that kissing on a regular basis provides additional oxygen and stimulates the output of antibodies.
Closeness to others can heal. Separation can kill." (8)

END of HIGHLIGHT:

Dr. Ron Podell's work on depression shows that we can CATCH depression. Dr. Gray (Men are from Mars… - not this one but in a later book) says there is a psychic drain in any family or organizational unit. The harmonic balance and mutable brain wavelengths of certain organisms or people are more affected or sensitive if they are not trained via coping skills they gradually imbibe toxic energy build up and behave insanely - much in humans has to do with breathing and oxygen deprivation of a little bit every day. This is my own observation but the above research on kissing does seem to connect. I think SIDS is connected to this as well.

Bloom also addresses the shaping of reality research that is on-going in consciousness and psychological research. Each researcher or discipline has something to add and yet is still seems the mystics were right and what is Above or in other dimensions is here Below as the laws bring forth greater depths. The traditional Jewish ritualists speak about making a Golem and using the alchemical homonunclus or artificial man. They have many uses of power and I know some of them were able to infiltrate or take a role in many elite groups of Rome or Tartessus long before Yeshua or Jesus. In The Rising Roman Empire I documented Antonines and other families with a history of this esoteric knowledge up to and including the alchemists of the Ptolemaic lineage. But average people probably got a little tired of these power games being used against them at various times. Thus the expulsions from many places at different times which we have already seen are not just The Diaspora but there are many Diasporas.

One of my suspicions has to do with the Borgias who married into the De Medicis and include the likes of Pope Alexander VI and founders of the Alumbrados or Illuminati. I believe their ‘remote poison’ was indeed ‘remote’ and operated through psi effects such as action-at-a-distance. In another book I showed Hitler’s Freemasonic Order of the Golden Centurion which he may have become part of long before his public acclaim, had a remote action machine called a tepaphone which I am told I am correct in saying includes copper and quartz just as many Druidic Sceptres and harmonic activators had long ago. There is more to learn about The Lost Chord to be sure. Here is an analysis of the destruction of the Temple and Diaspora myth from the Jewish academics.

“The Rabbis then thought to have Bar Kamsa killed in order that word not be brought back to the Caesar. Rabbi Zacharia ben Avkolus again disagreed, fearing that people may think that one who brings an animal with a blemish can be put to death.

Rabbi Yochanan at this point taught that due to the extreme piety of Rabbi Zacharia ben Avkolus, the Temple was destroyed, the Sanctuary burnt in flames and we were exiled from our land.

This is one of the stories in the Talmud, the rest is history. What we need to do is to analyze this story to understand what the sages were trying to convey in the story.

First, we can note that the combined incidences of the host of the banquet and Bar Kamsa showed a tremendous lack of feelings for the welfare of another. From this we learn the importance of putting other people’s feelings ahead of our desires. Still, this does not compare to the lack of action on the part of the assembled Rabbis at the banquet, who, had they protested the lack of consideration, could have averted a national tragedy. We learn from this the awesome responsibilities of those people who are in positions of leadership and influence. Yet even more so, is the blame on the shoulders of Rabbi Zacharia ben Avkolus, because of his great piety, not only was the Temple and Jerusalem destroyed, but we were exiled through out the nations. Rabbi Zacharia ben Avkolus who was the leader and most influential man in his generation should have seen the results of his actions. National leaders must know when to stand firm and when and how to bend, to avoid disastrous results. He must be able to put his own personal agenda and feelings aside and make proper decisions.

May we all learn from this chilling episode in our Jewish History, that our behavior is of extreme importance. May we, through the good will and cheerful help that we are able to give to another fellow Jew, see the rebuilding of the Temple swiftly in our days.” (9)

These myths have positive aspects and other layers of meaning. It is a common thing among people to think there is a great growth in understanding psychology going on. But however true that might be there was an understanding in days gone by that people needed to be part of the group. Here is a little more from one of the Bloom links we have provided.

NOTE:

“At six, children are obsessed with being accepted by the group and become incredibly sensitive to violations of group norms. They've been gripped by yet another conformity enforcer which structures their perceptions to coincide with those around them.” (10)

END of HIGHLIGHT:

Thus we have meditative rituals using ‘chhi’ and other energy as well as oxygen that affects everyday coping and metabolism that builds in much more sublimated or sub-conscious ways than we might imagine. These awarenesses have been studied and used as well as words and symbols or archetypes to allow some of us to control others. The purely intellectual or written and spoken dogma is only part of it. In medieval times the Jews called Sephardim in Spain were moved to bring back the feminine goddess that they had diminished or expunged from their dogma. They did this in the Zohar through the creation of the Matronit.

I have shown that Tartessus or the Iberians on Spain had a connection with the Semites of Phocaea and others through a long history. The Merovingians who went to Southern France went there because they already had outposts and alliances there. This later led to the Cathar movements and ecumenical belief systems that incorporated Judaism and Sufism. Thus I do not consider the Sephardim diaspora as particularly important or something that should be thought of as poor slaves serving some previous landowners who allowed them to co-habit this region. I say it is another example of lesser Jewish folk being made use of by the elite. Here is a little of the common academic insight on the matter.

“The first settlements appear to have been on the Mediterranean coast, and traces have been found in such cities as Ampurias, {This name indicates a probable connection to Emporia established near Massalia in conjunction with the King of Tartessus in 500 BC by the Phocaeans whose Bee symbol is well known.} Mataró, Tarragon, Adra, Malaga, Cadiz and Merida. One of the earliest archeological finds is the funerary stone of the Samaritan Justin of Merida, dated in the 2nd century. {Referring to AD} This epitaph, along with those of the young girl Salomonula and the rabbi Lasies, allow us to affirm the presence of Jews in the first centuries of the Christian era. The Jews of Roman Spain must have been labourers or even slaves, advancing to prosperity bit by bit in the coastal business cities. The Jewish communities must have been important enough in the 4th century for the Council of Elvira, Granada, to address several rulings to them. This is the first time the Church concerns itself with the possible danger the Jews present for the New Christians, enabled by convivencia to judaize.” (11)

I'd sooner believe it's not you who knows what Shawn is talking about. Talk about presumptuous!

Bruce, I have just read through your three long posts in this thread and besides the first one, I am not clear how they all are supposed to fit together for a "Plan for Peace and Harmony". Are you suggesting this plan should be taken seriously?

You remember the Niebuhr post somewhere in this forum warning of a religion of the collective? Your plan sounds a lot like that, a lot like a communist fiasco just waiting to happen.

Can't be much worse than the current capitalist fiasco, can it?

look what happened to the Soviet Union. Look at China today. In my opinion, it's worse than the capitalist fiasco. Any brotherhood of man will degenerate in communism unless there's a fundamental shift in human values and compassion.
Laz
True, but lets face it capitalism sucks!
Robert the Bruce
Ah yes, Communism. And where was it practiced? Not Russia - that is modeled on the US capitalist system where the few run the many. It was Bolshevism and funded by the US and British or the real world government. The US kept forces in Russia until Stalin was fully in control and them gave him 50 Million more to manage after he had genocidally offed 32 Million Ukrainians and more.

China was run by a Masonic type connection called the Kuomintang (and still is).
Guest
in practice, it works but it has its pros and cons. Many alternatives look good in theory but suck in practice. Communism is a case in point. What other alternatives to capitalism are there?
Robert the Bruce
Thanks for reading it.

However - the suggestion it would be communist (if you mean Bolshevism or the Kuomintang or Socialism as Old Joe Kennedy and his ilk planned it) is wrong.

It might be truly communist but there would be no need to re-distribute wealth except for the legal take back from criminals who have perpetrated specific crimes (which the courts are starting to do with the big Church).

It actually would probably end up with resource application and enablement of creative use of all people (who are resources).

I think Star Trek has the kind of society we could achieve - and quickly.

Have you read the CLub of Rome site?

I think anybody who wants to be realistic about government should recognize that the only 'utopian' system will include both total personal freedom and total equitable social order. Capitalism works to maximize the capacity for personal freedom (by allowing the individual the least government interference in their decisions). It succeeds in forstering motivation and yields high productivity due to competition (a very evolutionary effect) and fails when the elite finally gain a disproportionate amount of power and enslave the weak. Communism works to maximize the capaity for equitable social order (by creating 'equality' standards that prevent an elite from emerging and enslaving the weak). It succeeds in creating an equitable playing field for all citizens (directly interfering with the emergence of a non-government elite power class) and fails when the government constricts the individual into a predetermined mold that kills creativity and competition due to the necessity of enforcing equality over personal freedom. The fact is, the best path is going to iterate back and forth between the two where the pendulum direction changes when the system in place becomes degenerate. In America, the biggest problem is the emergence of the powerful elite and their attempt to secure their power, and this is why government is growing as a response in an attempt to maintain the basic ability to freedom for the individual citizen that is fundamentally denied in a communistic regime.

But Dan and most people who are fed the SPIN in school have no idea who the Physiocrats are and why Chomsky and others are right about the Globalized elite or corporatists.

Running a business (which I have done) would be the ideal capitalist society if all inputs and true potentials were considered but the truth of capital and cronyism prevents equitable input consideration because the elites or cronyistic systems supported by the Physiocratic Merovingian Dynasties which were once Divine Kings have usurped all the laws and rights of every FREE man. They get free rides and pollute or abuse the governments they prop up. In addition there is no need for sslave jobs especially when robots will soon be able to do them all and it has been demonstrated that twice the produce (GNP) can be achieved at half the man hours since the mid 60s (Bucky Fuller and Club of Rome).
Dan
what you just said is covered by my 'failure' mode explanation. I defy you to exlplain to me how communistic government can avoid its 'failure' mode, or to explain to me how this 'failure' mode is not a problem
Rober the Bruce
I covered the way to beat the 'failure mode' in my initial proposal. By having non-authoritarian oversight by experts who report to the voters.
Dan
is the idea that the 'non-authoritarian overseers' simply make recommendations, and the voters move these recommendations into law? Sounds like it would degenerate into noise quickly.
and, what ensures that these 'non-authoritarian overseers' do not generate corrupt information that satisfies powerful interests? Surely not the 'voters', as 'voters' can be psychologically manipulated by powerful interests (it's the story of American voters these days), and powerful interests can buy 'overseers'.

Enlightened self-interest and spiritual growth would be part of the Coundil as it was in pan-tribal Druidic days.

Here is something you can listen to (since you expressed interest in not having to read). It is from another member here and it applies to this topic and others.

Subject: Parenti audio files

Friends,
Four files on my website, stolen on Winmx and converted to Windows Media files. Please download and listen. (I sent an email to Dr. Parenti to let him know what I'm doing, stealing his stuff and introducing people to his insights. If you can't beat the media, become the media, right??)

Michael Parenti packs so much knowledge and insight into a small space it's astounding. This is stuff we should all know but it's not taught in school or anywhere else. What we mostly get is disinformation. Trust me, I actually learned a lot of new things here, which is rare for me (I humbly state). I challenge you to listen and tell me you already knew all this.
see www.michaelparenti.org for more info

http://www.geekman1.com/Parenti_rome_histo...perspective.wma
Parenti, historian and political analyst, discusses ancient Rome, the Roman Republic, Julius Caesar, the historian Cicero, and the viewpoint of Rome from the viewpoint of the common people --- "the mob" or "the rabble". Boring?? Not!! Julius Caesar and life in Rome comes to life today. Lots of humor and interaction with the audience, and comparisons to the United States government and economic system.

http://www.geekman1.com/Parenti_hidden_ide..._mass_media.wma
Parenti introduced at University of Vermont upon the 25 year anniversary of him being expelled as a popular professor -- popular with the faculty and staff, that is, but not with the Board of Trustees. Quite insightful, beyond what I already knew about Mass Media. Any Dittoheads out there? This is for you, too!

http://www.geekman1.com/Parenti_founding_f...ww2_+_mumia.wma
Michael Parenti discusses the real interests of the Founding Fathers, in their own statements and actions, in part 1. Blows up a lot of "common wisdom" about what you think you know about America.
Then part 2, a radically different explanation of World War II that what you've always known. England and France did not "appease" Hitler. Facts listed in this article http://www.tarpley.net/bush2.htm are not mentioned, but the names are mentioned.

who's going to be capable of choosing this 'enlightened and spiritual' council? Surely not the voters, at least not in my universe. And if not the voters, then how can the voters be sure that this council is constituted as advertised? We'd almost need God himself to come down from heaven and make the perfect choices (as if), or rely on sheer luck (which doesn't sound like a good way to start a utopian world government).
Robert the Bruce
There is truth to that - and thus the Elder Councils of the past made the choice of the Council of Six King-Bairds. But as is demonstrated in Aristotle's book Politics which studied Carthage (at a late date in Brotherhood) the leaders were common consent and had to answer to the people.

Today it would be done with people getting together and speaking the truth to people like you. They would also have model programs, study groups, social salons and other old methods of achieving an educated populace that would circumvent the ownership of media by those who currently are programming people to elect talking-heads who are set on that stage by them in the first place. Did you listen to Parenti?
Dan
I don't see a tangible mechanism to protect against government corruption and/or the emergence of a power elite, only the belief that a 'true' education of the people can generate a true democratic culture that will be capable of supporting freedom for the individual and supressing the emergence of a power elite.

and, no, I didn't listen to Parenti. Maybe later, though
Robert the Bruce
That 'true' education you speak about is made to look awful hard to get by Parenti. In fact education is not even on the right track and coping skills are woefully inadequate. As Ivan Illich documented in the early 70s - education reduces happiness and quality of life as well. Just seems to make more paradigm pundits or stinkers.
Dan
I'm confused. I thought that you just stated
QUOTE

as if you were describing 'truth' education as integral to a viable solution. Now it seems you are stating the opposite, or am I simply misunderstanding you?
Robert the Bruce
Correct me if I am wrong.

You think that I said there is something black and white called truth. You think I said education is the anti-thesis of what is good while earlier agreeing with you that education is needed.

Yes, Illich was right about education - as it now is. His books on medicine and other things also say much the same thing. His friend Professor John McKnight of Northwestern University has a more than quarter century model program demonstrating how people must learn to cope and help each other rather than throw mney at problems and hire managers for people.

We need an education that seeks to create spiritual and thinking people who help each other. What we have is what Professor Janice Boddy calls 'A global reifying thrust of materialism'.
