Quiet, peaceful,
A sweet girl.
Walk around Main Street.
Moonlit walk by the river.
Christmas decorations-
Santa, Rudolph, Frosty.
Shredded ice from the ice house,
Left over from the day's festivities.
South Florida attempt at snow.
We made little snow balls.
A couple of children playing
Quietly on the swings
This precious night.
We're in a safe place.
It was beautiful.

I dont know what your talking about guest, but I think you really like putting people down! Because This is awesome ... its nothing about depression just a memmory or a hope memmory.. and I think that this owrk came from the HEART! And to tell you the truth the best work IS from the heart!

I think this is a very good and colorful and well-made poem, and I fail to see the constructive purpose of that comment from Guest, "not brilliant."

"Damning with faint praise," then, are we?

When we write and post, we are, to varying degrees, pouring our hearts out. When I write and post, for example, I am pouring my heart out to the uttermost degree. When someone does that, it is worthy of respect: mine and yours as well.
