Hey! Child....

Stomp through all the puddles, child
and dance in the rain.

Lie and make snowangels on the hills
so white and plain.

Jump through fields of butterflies...
and howl like wolves in chains.

Just do it now!
Because later...
... they will think that you're insane! happy.gif

Hey Dr. Lance, this is a good one!

The child in the image looks just like Teddy did when he was that size. You are right in what you say in this poem; children should do all those things and make the most of childhood. It's true too that later on people think you're insane for doing the same things; I do all those things and people sure do think I'm nuts. Oh well, it's a living!

Thanks so much for creating and posting this! And thank you with all my heart for taking the ancient name. When you read this, you will be a Lance, and we will be married, one flesh forever and ever, and the very best of friends. Gules a fesse or!

I really loved reading this master piece... silke

There are times in my day

when a thought of you will peer out

like a small child gazing
from behind a curtain

eyes wide in wonder

and I cannot help but smile

at the innocence

Sometimes the little remembrances of someone can mean the most.
