The Door Of Depression
By- Nichola Cordato
Looking at the blank walls of my mind
I cant escape this world
It haunts my coldest dreams
And taunts my biggest fears
My heart calling for
Sympathy and help
No answer
Can you hear me?
Silent sorrow fills my soul
And tear drops drown my mind
Frozen into this body
Without any say
Patience I have to have
Without it, I would go crazy
Tolorance I have to keep
Or I will loose my mind
Crying invisible tears
No one understands
All the pain
That is tearing up my life
Im trying to close the door
That I opened, the door of depression
Because its out of control
And lonleyness has now begun

Nikki,
I thought the poem was very thought-provoking alive with images throughout. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. This would have to be my favorite of your posts. You indeed have talent. I encourage you to keep writing and keep sharing. You have great insight to offer here. Take care.
