Welcome Back

We welcome you back with open arms
We have missed you with all our hearts
When you were gone our days were blue
I have taken the time to wirte for you

You have come back safe and sound
Back to Clinton, your homeland town
You've come back and have been missed
By young and old, men and kids

You have missed a lot of things
But we haven't done too much to change
I know thare is a lot of work to do
But we will do our best to help you through

I have prayed and prayed for your return
Each and every night I talked to God
I asked him to help and care for you
To keep you safe while you were gone

And now I wil finish this poem
And let you get back to your life
And I'll say once again
We have missed you Mr. Golden

Thanks be to God that Mr. Golden is coming back safe to Clinton, Iowa! God bless him.

I'm pretty sure I heard about him on the news.

You have done a noble and a kind and loving thing to write this poem for him and welcome him home.

May God grant that they can all come home, all, all, all; and may they come home safe.
