My Child"
She stands there silently,
waiting for some unknown thing.
It calls to her,
quietly whispering
Come here my child,
Come here.
She takes a step closer
Toward the unnown force
That calls to her
quietly whispering,
Yes, my child over here,
Over here.
She is almost to her destination
As fear grows in her heart.
The voice calls out to her
whispering louder,
You're almost here my darling,
Almost here.
She reaches the spot before her,
Looks up to see a wonderous sight.
The voice is louder now,
Its words no longer a whisper.
You are here my child
You are here.
She steps into a dreamy place
That is filled with love and mirth.
The voice is now comforting
As it talks to her,
Welcome home my child
Welcome home.
The hate and anger drain from her body
As she realizes where she is
And with a wavering voice
The little girl whispers,
I am here dear Jesus
I am here.
