The "Favorites" board is intended to be a compilation of favorite poems, organized by author. In other words, each thread will be devoted to one author. Please abstain from posting your own works, at least until further notice. In general, I thought a collection of our favorite poems from preferably non-living poets might be useful and entertaining.

Also, because the Topics on this board are organized alphabetically, please use the authors name (first name, last name) as the Topic Title.

I wish to post poems by a favorite poet and I want to obey the rules. I see a mix of first name, last name, and last name, first name. I'm going to post according to the rules, but I think last name, first name makes more sense for finding poets. Perhaps a moderator can confirm a preferred rule and then fix the topic titles accordingly.

I have posted in both ways....(firstname/lastname Lastname/firstname)

Hmmmm...I think the best would be to have the LAST name first....
