Wandering eyes lead the heart astray,
traveling where they want each new day,
Looking around to every which way,
They will never be content to stay.

The eyes of man are never satisfied,
Hungering the more to be gratified,
Choosing what they want to see justified,
Following lust long ago ratified,
Is there one who is truly sanctified?

I tell you there is but one perfectly true,
who's eyes but burned in holiness through and through,
Fully God yet fully a man He was too,
Jesus the spotless lamb died for me and you.
