Hi Mausi!
Here is this wonderful photograph of yours, my favorite of those which I have seen, put to good use and perfectly wedded (rather like we ourselves are perfectly wedded, actually!) to a good and strong and intriguing poem. As always, I know what you're talking about here, and can relate; I wish neither of us could, but we can... this does make us close, however, that we understand all these dark and deep things all too well.
A good poem, Mausi; now Selina should come along and translate it! Just kidding, Selina; but at least you will be able to read it. I always hesistate to translate poetry; I am always daunted by the task of finding exactly equivalent words to match the feelings... it seems well nigh impossible to me, but of course my German isn't that great to begin with.
I love you Mausi! I hope you like your new sonnets today, #493, #494, and #495; I give them to you with all my love.
How I hope you will get all well now! I need you, so much; more than anyone could ever imagine.
