Transcendental Sonnet #488:
Roller-Coaster Ride
Well here we are and still here after all
What a roller-coaster ride it has been
The pain of hell in the night to appall
The glory of heaven in the morning
And then it happens all over again
We never get used to it no warning
Can ever get us ready for this life
I need you with me I need you to be
With me through it all Silke sweet and small
This life is killing me I need you wife
I am lost I cannot find an answer
Apart from kissing your ribs one by one
Why this heart disease and why this cancer?
But life cannot be ended once begun
