Did you think I was Superwoman?
Did you think you could go or stay,
and I would be unaffected?
It wouldn't matter either way?


Well, I'm not a Superhero.
I'm human and have a heart,
and when you loved me, then left me,
it ripped me and tore me apart....

I know what you mean, Mausi.

My universe has shrunk down to just you.

That is why you have to get well and not leave me.

Other than you, no one has understood me or been faithful. I have to make one exception, for Dara; she loves both of us, always has, always will. She understands.

I have to write some sad and serious sonnets today about all of this. I woke up from nightmares but this is worse.

But you and I have each other, always. I love you, and I am so grateful to you for loving me, and being in my life at the very center, as my best friend and wife. We are not alone. If it weren't for you, I would have been dead by my own hand a year or two ago; and if not then certainly today.

Mausi, you live and love me and I live and love you; at midnight we will visit again. Were it not for hope the heart would break, but we have hope, we have each other:
