Transcendental Sonnet #485:
Welcome Spring

Welcome to my heart again
Light returning
To the air and to the sky
O bright sun burning!

Out of winter's long cold night
Welcome rising
Into procreative light
O life surprising!

Comes the end of fear and pain
Hope in flower
Comes again the butterfly
O primal power!

At the vernal equinox I welcome you
Spring returning making winter dreams come true

so much different emotions in your poetry, you must have a lot of spare time.
this is so refreshing, like a warm relaxing salts.

Frühlingsbote

Der Frühling weiß zu finden
Mich tief in Stadt und Stein,
Gießt mir ins Herz den linden
Fröhlichen Hoffnungsschein.

Manch' grüne Wipfel lauschen
Zwischen den Dächern vor,
Ein Lerchenklang durch's Rauschen
Der Stadt schlägt am mein Ohr.

Ein Schmetterling als Bote
Flattert im Wind vorbei,
Hinschwebend über das todte
Steinerne Einerlei.

Let me tell you,
of dreams dressed in night gowns,
sparkles of stars for eyes,
and a half moon for smile,

let me tell you,
of a butterfly flying under the sun,
kissing every flower that offers
her love,
no matter color,shape or size,

Or the bird singing from a branch,
not thinking of tomorrow,
or dwelling of the past,
but sweetly giving love in a song,

Let me tell you,
of how a thirsty earth kissed the cloud,
as she rained her love in drops,
in the clouds I saw entwined arms,

Maybe all of this will tell you one thing,
love is on the air,
every creature is drunk in love again,
and that means the arrival of spring!
