There's something in the voice of man
That cries out for the upper hand.
Can you hear it?

There's something in the oceans' waves;
The tears of endless souls unsaved.
Can you taste it?

There's something in the desert winds
That whips at unprotected skin.
Can you feel it?

There's desperation in the sky
As tears of blood rain down from high.
Can you forget it?

There's triumph in the fire's blaze;
The innocents flee from the haze
Can you forgive it?

Can you forgive it?
