So many words left unsaid
A mountain of dreams broken and dead
One girl sits with her heart in her hands
As it slips thru her fingers like a thousand grains of sand
The tears fall fast as do her hopes
From losing the one she loves the most
Her soul is suffering as her memories replay
Of the time they spent together every night and day
Outside the wind is as harsh as his words
In the distant of her mind their favorite song is heard
As the rain starts to fall her eyes fill up with tears
What just happened was one of her biggest fears
She wraps her arms around herself as an abandoned child would
She imagines that they are his arms holding her like they should
She lies down to sleep at night
Remembering his sweet sweet kiss
Smiling at the good times she loves to reminisce
She drifts off to sleep at night and in the morning she will wake
But once again her fragile heart will break
